How to Start Cash Stuffing

I’ve been trying to stay afloat with cash stuffing..but it is difficult.
Keep going! Start small with a few envelopes. Don’t overwhelm yourself. But don’t stop🤍
It was hard for me for the first year. It got better when I got more comfortable with it
You can do it!
One suggestion I’d say is to do it your way! Don’t try following someone else’s method or categories to the T. Create someone that works for you and you’ll slowly become better and better each time. It’s definitely a process. You’ve got this! 🥰
Me and my husband had a nice long discussion about finances over the weekend & I think we have found a plan that will work wonders for our journey! Can't wait to keep up the cash stuffing with more of a solidified plan in place now 😊
Share the plan, please! 😂 me and my man are still at finding our way. Still not satisfied 😮 thaaanks
@MovieEaters Long story short, we get paid weekly because we own our own business (husband's a truck driver) so we added up all our monthly bills & decided we will keep $1,000 in the bank every single week for bills to be drafted from & everything over that amount I will withdraw and put into our envelopes and towards debt repayment. So say we make $2000 one week, I would leave $1,000 and take the other $1,000 and budget that into the envelopes and debt repayment. Hope that helps! I know everyone's situations are different. I'm very grateful my husband works as hard as he does for our family of 6 😊😊
I just started my youtube channel so I got the typical clear tray but I LOVE the black tray. I've realized that my aesthetic leans towards black and white with neutral colors. 😍
Emily, so much to do in a MN spring! MOA, indoor water parks, disc golf, Como, etc….
Glad to hear you’re feeling better. Viewing from North Metro.
25:58 cannot wait to see you unstuff this challenge!! I have one but I haven’t started it yet because I’ve been focused on debt pay down but I like the idea of stuffing it to pay back the debt like you’re doing. It makes it so much more visible and fun
I just bought basic cash stuffing supplies with Amazon Prime day deals! I don’t make much money so this will be an adventure!
I love the color of your nails! It definitely matches with your budgeting aesthetic 🫶🏽
Yeesss. I will be here with popcorn and front row seats to your 100 envelope challenge!!!!
I hope you feel better now! ❤❤ I don't like emptying my sinking funds when I've a bit saved up too! It's like "I got to get this cash, no I don't want to! I have to! No I don't want to!" Internal dilemma 😂
I started cash stuffing this pay period. I did my budget first and is was scary to see where my money was going. For example, $850 for Amazon in June!! $850!!! It did give me anxiety when I was separating my money and organizing my envelopes. The realization of facing what you could actually spend made me nauseous. But when I went to the grocery store, used my coupons and paid in cash was such a great feeling! I have to stay strong and stick with it! This could be life changing for me, someone who’s been in credit card debt Twice in her life!!🫣🫣🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼💕
I have been obsessed with your videos. I've probably watched each of them at least 2 times by now. Im planning on starting my cash stuffing journey next month. Im planning everything I need to get started now. I bought a few starter pieces on amazon. I hope to buy a few things from your shop when I can afford it. I love all of it.
I love watching videos to see how everyone is saving their money. Great job!
This was so therapeutic to watch!
When you d your cash condensing remember to get $100s and $50s!! Last time you mentioned you didn’t have as many 50s
Hey Emily! I’m so glad to hear you all are feeling better! 🤗
Amazing video like always 🥰🩵
Love the video as always! I got my order this week and I am OBSESSED with the cash planning notepad!!!
Hi Emily! Just wanted to thank you for the “I’m not high maintenance” challenge tracker. It’s so much fun seeing the denominations stack up so fast. 🎉❤😊
I cannot wait until I receive my budget binder! Super excited to budget on something a little more aesthetically pleasing than notebook paper 😂
I love unstuffing saving challenge videos too!! I can’t wait to see your unstuffing! I just got LuxeDesigns Xmas box and obsessed! 😍🎄
Cash stuffing seems so fun and reasonable... i find it difficult to stay consistent myself, but it’s a process so I’m slowly getting there 🥰 Your doing amazing though🎉
The nail color looks great and the shape is really cute!
Love the nails!!!! Just started watching while I make envelopes
I love the nails❤ My question is when is your debt free goal date?
I love your handwriting so much 😍❣️ Not sure if I commented that before.
Great video. I love the black cash tray🖤
The 4 kids statement! I feel that to the core!
It’s so real 🫠✌🏼🥰
@@theaestheticdollar very much so!!🙃🙂🙃🙂
I actually love that nail color!!
Congrats on 15k. Great cash stuffing.
Great video ❤ love the nail color ❤
I used to live in International Falls, MN😊
"Four kids is alot of math" 🤣 You make cash stuffing fun and funny!
🥰😂
Okay. That color is FAB! I saw your picture! I hope you had a great weekend! I so relate about counting money 🙃🤣 OMG YES about depleting a sinking fund! I hateee it but am so thankful at the same time 🤣 I’m so glad you’re better! I hate y’all were sick. Awesome video my dear! 💚
Thank you my love!! Been loving your videos too!! xoxo
I hope I get to your level of saving....my job, although very tedious, and, after taxes and benefits strip the weekly pay, it isn't much...well living in Los Angeles does it to you...makes it hard to save lol
Hi Emily, happy Sunday. I like your nails ❤ I tagged you into the 40 questions that have been going through the budgeting community but maybe you missed it. I would love to hear your answers and I’m sure other’s work as well. Enjoyed your video as usual ❤
Hey hun! Happy Sunday!
Hi beautiful Emily!!
Thank you so much for sharing ... glad your better ... I cant wait to be able to cash stuff again .... I'm definitely relying on my faith ....
Ps as always ... everything is so beautiful ❤ Love the nails
Love your videos. Have you considered adding cash dividers to your inventory? I moved from envelopes to dividers a couple months ago, and really like the ease of pulling cash at the point of sale. Would love to see some in your aesthetic. 👍
been loving your channel sm recently. i’m not sure if you already have one but can you do a vid on how to get one month ahead on bills and stuff? i’ve been trying to put extra money aside but not sure on how. thank you sm ❤️
That’s a nice nail color. 😊
Love your nails. I love your videos I’m addicted.
Great video!🥰
Always stocking ur page for custom orders 😂😂missed a couple of categories in my last order 😢
Great video as always you are doing great❤❤❤
Me too! LOL Need to order some more.
Love the polish color on u! Do u know around when u will have the imperfect sale for the wallets? Thanks so much!
Just recently subscribed. Can you start out small like 5's and 10's and work your way up? This method of saving makes so much sense I see a huge amount being capable of saving. I'm interested in learning more.
Aya plans does this. She stuffs 5 in most of her envelopes at a time.
How do you get yourself back on track after not adhering to your budget? Thanks! Love your videos!!
I just love your whole vibe! I started doing videos and have no idea what I am doing lol. How do you do your videos like what holds your phone and all of that? I can't get mine in a good position to pleasing to the eye. Also, how do you edit your videos. It's hard for me lol
I love the nail color. Will you be stocking the white, taupe and black binders? If not where did you purchase those. Love them.
New follower here! So glad I came across your videos I Love your content. Im Sure you get asked a lot but in my defensive I did just about watch all of your videos before asking …. Where are your negral binders from. I love how aesthetically pleasing they are!!!!
Hi 👋🏼 I recently found your channel and I love it! I have a couple questions. For your kids envelope, say that they wanted a chocolate bar at checkout, you said you would pull from the kids envelope. But what if they have none left? Is that it for the week or would you pull from your own spending? Next question is, you have a separate envelope for nails. Does your husband have a second envelope for something he likes doing/getting? Just wondering how that works, I would have thought that it would come out of your own spending. Last questions, I would imagine you pay all your bills online, when do you budget and do you do a zero based budget? Do you have videos with the whole process? Thanks! ❤
Another great video! Would you recommend a newbie starting their own channel? How did you feel when you first started?
Do you know when you might open up ordering for custom envelopes next?
Are you taking custom envelope orders yet? I know it was sold out a couple days ago, btw love your videos
Do you know when these binders will be available again? 😀
Hey Emily! Is there a limit to how many personalized cash envelopes a person can order at one time? Love your videos❤
Q&A: what mwthod would you recommend a beginner uses to get started? im trying to wrangle my spending habits and minimize the money i spend. any help would be appreicated ❤
What do you use the organising envelope for? ❤
Can you explain the difference between the sinking funds and your wallet. Like you have the same envelopes in multiple books, I’m a little confused on that. Thank you!!
for the Q&A: in Brasil, in my bank, if you leave the money in the “money pig” account, you can save 100% + if you wanna take it out anytime and up to 110% + if you take it out on a specific date in the future (for example: i had 100 BRL in the begging of the month and now I have 123 BRL - not real numbers, just for you to understand) this is a very specific thing and i don’t understand it fully, but i was thinking if you have something similar to this in the US and if you do, why do you think it is still worth it to cash stuff?
hope i could make myself clear, tried my best🤪
Love your page!!! When will the cash envelopes be back in stock?
Customs will probably be back in stock in September! After my kids go back to school 🫠🫣
Can you tell us about your pets?
Hello! If you go to a store and spend from several categories how do you know what category to take it out of?
I just love your videos 🤍
🥰🥰🥰
How often would you suggest unstuffing?
I just recently started cash stuffing and am already finding I need to add categories and do some adjusting. I was wondering what the breakdown of some of your categories consist of (i.e. Household, Personal Hygiene, etc.
Great question! Household is anything we need around the house like toilet paper, paper towels, cleaning supplies, a new vacuum, etc
Personal hygiene is things we need to take care of ourselves like shampoo, toothpaste, deodorant, make up, skin care, etc
I hope that helps!
22:38 where did you get your savings challenge binder? Love it
I sell them in my shop! It’s currently out of stock but I’m restocking my entire shop later this month 🤩
Love your videos. You are a inspiration to me to keep going. I subscribed to your channel?
How did you get your husband to pull the cash from the envelopes and not just swipe the card? We have recently started to cash stuff, and he often forgets.
Also, do you ever feel like a hassle or embarrassed when you pull out your envelopes at the store or when out with friends? Lately, when I go places other than the grocery store, the cashiers seem slightly put out when you use cash. However, that could be in my head. The other day I had a teenager that didn't know which coin was the 10 cent, and I had to help him. 😂
My question is if I have credit card debt, car loans, student loans, and zero savings.. which do you suggest to focus on first? Or should these be focused on simultaneously even though that will be a slower process?
You can make savings challenges like she does. Setting money aside for debt is great but it doesn’t need to feel overwhelming. Debt can be if you focus on it too much so i would suggest the things she does or what Aya plans does with her debt.
👋💕
Hello! I’m new to budgeting. I was wondering how often you stuff your envelopes if you was on a monthly budget? Also, what is a “Sinking Fund” ( sorry I’m asking to much questions 🤦♀️)?
I believe her and her husband each get a monthly paycheck but she divides them up for each week. A sinking fund is formed periodically setting aside money of a debt or a placement of a wasting asset. A sinking fund like car maintenance for example is like setting aside $20 each week for it to build up for any unexpected repairs instead of having to upull out large amounts of money out of your butt lol
Where did you get your envelopes?
I made them 🥰 they’ll be restocking in my shop soon! It’s linked in my description
Where did you get your wallet?
I sell them in my shop! They will be back in stock this week!
@@theaestheticdollar thank u
I'm confused about your grocery budgeting. You put $25 in your wallet for picking up random items, then you put $25 more in a different binder for random items. Why 2 different places for random pick up items?
She has a groceries envelope for her wallet for when she goes to the grocery store. She also has another groceries envelope in her high priority SINKING funds. Which means she can add money in the sinking funds for rollover or for just a sinking fund. If you scroll down a few videos she does explain what a lot of her envelopes mean in further detail.
@@hannaxparker thanks
just came across your videos! i am obsessed and waiting for your restock 🫶🏻
