when I write subscript. it shows it as variable and indicates it in red color. I mean, you wrote v_initial correctly. When I write it, initial is showed as variable(red color) in the sub part. How can I fix it?
I know what you're talking about - I'm a Six Sigma Yellow Belt. Unfortunately variable names do not support bars. I use a literal subscript to clarify variable names like that.
Hi! If i define a variable "Mx" as lets say 10kNm on one of the pages in mathcad, on some other page(or maybe even on the same page) I will have Mx also, same name variable but different value. My question is, how does mathcad know, or how do I tell mathcad which Mx to recall to use in some other equation that involves one of the Mx's used. I hope I am clear... Thanks in advance!
Mathcad evaluates your worksheet from top to bottom, left to right. If you redefine a variable to have a different value, below that point in the worksheet if will use the new value.
@@CADPLMGuy one more question. i will explain it simply mathcad will ordinarily do: a=1 b=2 a+b=3 I want it to sometimes do a+b=1+2=3. i hope you understand. thanks!
Yeah, I screwed up. You got me. I don't know why I messed that up in the recording or why I missed that in the editing. Yes, c is the speed of light, not g, the acceleration due to gravity. If you never make a mistake when recording a video, you're a better person than me.

Thank you soooo much for all your time and efforts to make these videos and explain everything to us so nicely! It helps a lot :)))
What if you have one or more unknown variables and you are trying to solve them simulatnously? How do you define a variable that is unknown?
You can either solve a set of simultaneous equations or use a solve block. I think I made a video on that subject for PTC's Mathcad channel.
Well explained video. How can I define a list variable? for example outside diameter OD = [1, 2, 3] in ?
Can you tell me how to write T+1 subscript
Congratulations for your work! Thanks a lot!
Thanks. Very good Tutorial!
good to listen to and short and precise.
hi, sir! I wonder how to write X_bar, an average parameter in matcad?

I keep getting errors when defining something with this sign :=
What is the reason of this?

Very helpful tutorial
Thanks for the tutorial
tsenk yu very much . very gut tutoriel.
Tau is diameter / radius? isnt that .... 2 :)
Tau is circumference divided by radius. If I misspoke, sometimes that happens. It's RUclips.
@@CADPLMGuy isn't that just 2 pi?
I recommend you read "The Tau Manifesto." To us Tauists, it's more than "just" 2 pi. It's a much better way of understanding circles and angles.
Congratulations
c is the speed of light lol
The speed of what?
Light
