I’ve fallen in love with Stanley flasks. I got my first one delivered last week. It’s a 1.1lt 2010 model, made in China. It’s a beauty but I’ve heard that the USA made Stanley’s work better. Last night I bought a 2lt Stanley made in the USA, it’s made in 1982. It’s beaten up but should work well.

Actually someone made a test and in his case the Chinese version held the temperature even better, so I wouldn't worry about that ;)

Actually you don't need to unscrew if fully, you loose a lot of heat. You can unscrew it a little bit and fill your mug. It will hold the temperature much more longer rather fully open the thermos.
