I'm glad Blood warden isn't common. I'll never stay and t bag or bm, but I have issues leaving with teammates on hooks, I can't do it, and Blood warden has made me pay the price before haha.
I remember once I played a killer match and put on blood warden since it had been a while since I had ran it. Noticed three people were matching fits with each other so I found one of them streaming and played it at endgame. All you could hear was them screaming at each other in German the whole time🤣I remember I could make out one of them saying ‘Damn doctor has the blood warden! We are screwed!’ It was beautiful
I have never understood giving up at the end game if you're doing poorly. Sure. It's very demoralizing to have a pretty bad match where you eat utter garbk, but you can still pull through even at the very end. One match I can think of that I somehow pulled through is a Wesker match on Crotus Prenn the end despite only getting like 1 hook in the main match. There were 3 survivors with flashlights Ace,Mikaela and Zarina, who were just running circles around me and just on guy doing Gens. In the end, the Gen guy gets to leave, but I'm able to pin one of the flashlight users (Zarina)and hook them while knocking down the Mikaela. And then finally, it's just me and Acr. I knock him down, hook him, and head back to pick up my slug. The collapse timer is almost at its end, and Ace manages to 4% and goes and saves Zarina. I quickly hook my slug and make a made dash to Ace, knowing his endurance had been stripped away as soon as he went for the unhook. I knock him down and chase down Zarina. With very little left on the clock and her being close to the gate, I use weskers power and wait for her to enter the center of my screen. She tries to avoid it by using that small piece of wall at the exit gates, but she still gets hit by the power, being grabbed slammed. The timer runs out, and I manage to go from 0 to 3 kills. It was the most Hype I have ever been playing, dbd. I don't like giving up as the game is about to end, and things like this prove to me that good things can happen even at Endgame Collapse.
Sure, but generally speaking, a tough early-mid game is enough to have all odds stacked against you and therefore the only way to overcome this is if survivors make really poor decisions; as a killer you rely on survivors messing up, however that "reliance" dramatically increases when you are losing to the point where even if you were a cracked killer and made 0 mistakes during endgame that wouldn't be enough if survivors are cracked as well
It's really simple. 90% of my games 5 gens are done at 2-3 hooks. I am not joking. First, even if I try, I will mostly still only get a 1k if even that, so why bother? The chance to make an insane clutch play is minimal. Second, with 5 gens popping at 2-3 hooks, the game is absolutely boring and simply not fun anyways, so I'd rather have it end than prolong my suffering. Thirdly, with 90% of my games being total unwinnable gen rush matches already, the LAST thing I want is even higher MMR. I want FUN matches, I want goofy survivors and memes, not 5 gens popping at 1:52 with flashlight clicky sabo into CJ plays. It is frankly impossible as killer to lose MMR, so even if you lose 90% of your games like me, you will still play mostly vs P100 Dwights with 8k hours. Since endgame gameplay with 2 hooks is as boring and predictable as it gets (You will either get tbags or at most 1k), I'd rather go afk and hope to lose some MMR.
@@erenakay8873 If 90% of the games are like that because I play vs 3x adre & lithe 8,000 hour Neas that are way above my skill level, I'm pretty sure matchmaking is at fault and not me buddy. No decent matchmaking keeps putting you vs elite players so that you keep losing 90% of the matches.
Bloodwarden is one of thr silent but deadly types of Perks. Rarely discussed in any meta conversation, but it often gets the job done. A real sleeper Perk.
i've had so many games where i wish the killer had brought blood warden, because my teammates opened the gate and then stood there waiting for the killer to watch them leave instead of helping the death-hook survivor being chased or even just walking out.
It's the best when they're all at the exit gate thinking they have freedom, and then they realize, the timer is 3/4 of the way gone and BW is still active. the desperation XD
I've been caught by bloodwarden ONCE and I still escaped, everyone did that round (except a Yui who died to end game collapse). Everyone else is always so obvious with it and I run out before it procs, but it's fun to hear my duo scream in the background lolz
I feel bad sometimes though for the survivors that aren't even teabagging at the gate but instead staying just to try and save their teammate. But it's totally worth it to get the last laugh on those aforementioned teabagging survivors 😅
This is why it pays to have a friend with Distortion on as a survivor(I'm usually that friend lol) but good plays on getting these though because a lot of them were just stubborn about leaving
I love how, when survivors see BW, they try and hide behind the pillar like you don't have aura reading on them. Does nobody read perk descriptions? XD
