Your hair is beautiful, and I love this video ,I appreciate you taking out the time to explain detailed information on the relaxers, I have been thinking about relaxing my salt pepper hair at home. Thank you
The hair color is absolutely gorgeous !!. As a licensed Cosmetologist we are taught to push relaxers from the distributors , not from the stores that anyone can purchase . What I have learned from my own research is that the chemicals that are used in relaxers can cause damage to your hair and scalp and actually penetrate to your brain, for this reason I stopped relaxing my hair at 50. I encourage anyone to do your own research and do what you feel is right for you.
I agree. I stopped at 51 but went back at 58. It was too much for me after 7 years and bra strap length (4b). I swore I would transition again next year when I retire. But will have to keep it short as I don’t want to give that much time or energy to my hair. I am predominantly gray in my 60’s (still dyeing). My gray is something else. Coarse can’t even begin to describe it. LOL
Back Again. There a product that I use to counter act yellow it called, FANCI-FULL by ROUX #52 White Mink. Requires no rinse out and is not greasy. Does not leave hair purple, it Just removes the yellow. Ideal to use on days when shampooing only, in between relaxing. Have You tried this one? I absolutely love it. I know everything don't work for everybody but if someone is looking for something like this, give it a try. Till next time, Much Love from Carrollton Texas 🥰🙏
The color of the blazer and blouse/shirt is really becoming on you, it would be nice if you could include OOTD in your future videos:), you always look so chic in your outfits.
Thank you for the information. I instantly liked you. Your voice is very comforting. Your hair is gorgeous. I don't often "LIKE" a video or subscribe. But you got me . thank you sister for being genuine. You look amazing with short hair. Lolol went back and look at your past videos, did you know you look younger now! You go girl.
You are so beautiful and your hair is gorgeous! I love it! Thank you so much for sharing! I've been pondering lately to use a mild relaxer on my gray hair, which can be quite unruly, and the gentle treatment seems to be what I'm looking for. Peace & Blessings ❤
I use the gentle treatment and switched to ORS box kit because I use most ORS products so I wanted to use the entire line as I think they compliment eachother really well. You look sensational Wongalee😍. You are one of my inspirations. I have noticed that now I'm reaching 46 my hair has become finer - have you experienced this? Also, do you only use the purple shampoo on relaxer day?
I used the gentle treatment relaxer and you are right to me I find its a great product thanks for sharing your information because if i had not seen your video I would not have tried this product.
Heeeeeey Wongalee. Gurrrrrrl you have been blessed with that color that most black people don't have. Yours is white, most African Americans have Silvery Grey. I was hoping I got the white but I didn't 😶but it all good tho, I'm still trying my best to Work It! LoL. Thank You for another informative video. Looking Marvelous as always. Till Next Time, Much Love from Carrollton Texas 🙏🥰
I found the gentle treatment to be very runny, my hair is very thick and you know the gray hair is very stubborn. It doesn’t perm my hair like I want it too
Thank you. As I had wondered about my own results. At almost 61, I noticed my hair isn’t taking relaxers like it did years ago. I was natural for 7 years but went back to a relaxer a bit over 2 years ago. This gray has a mind of its own. Coarse and wiry!
@@lisapowell7720 Hi Lisa. I touch up with Mizani Butter Blend for color treated hair about every 5 to 6 months. I use the whole system. My hair does not get bone straight which is okay as that is not what I try for anyway. I still keep some texture. My hair has always been thick and coarse. The gray just makes it more.
