Holy wow. When you said the speed she was going I just lost it out loud. I can't believe that. That is insanely fast for a collision with a human. Its fast for a car collision. Geez. Thoughts and prayers your way
Do people actually think and pray for the affected person when they offer their "thoughts and prayers"? More importantly, do collective "thoughts and prayers" directed toward the deity of their choice (i.e. would Mohammed actually grant blessings upon a non-Muslim infidel) on a mass scale, really affect the outcome of a persons dire predicament? That said, I'll just wish Motoman a speedy recovery instead of the trite and non-deity specified "thoughts & prayers".
@@tecnocato I was neither respecting or disrespecting. I was merely questioning the premise that collectively thinking and praying to an unknown deity will cure a persons ailments. If that were truly the case then no one should ever suffer a misfortune. I can still wish Motoman a very quick recovery through the clearly tangible wonders of modern science and medicine.
Glad you survived and you are alive speaking normal, I survived having a stroke last year Easter 2019, so I know about physical therapy, it's a process, get better and god bless!!!!
the expression on my face the entire time you described the accident....JESUS CHRIST, you're alive and talking! I'm a huge advocate for getting rid of SUV's because the survivability is so low with collisions with pedestrians and small cars. How well-engineered is the Tesla Model X that a 6k lbs vehicle hits you at 40 mph....then you hit the ground after flying...and survived. If it was pretty much any other SUV you would have died on impact with the car. I wish you a speedy recovery and no long term pain.
oh wow, sorry to hear that. Wish you a fast recovery and resume filming. I was wondering about the pause since last one. Glad you pulled thru!! Best wishes from the other side of the pond (Portugal).
I am very glad that you are in the process of recovering. You were also extremely lucky to get away with those injuries (no head injury, no internal bleeding, ruptured spleen, whatever). Concentrate on your recovery, the show can wait. You are one of the few yt-ers who provides quality and not just quantity.
Salute to you Bro. So glad you're on the road to recovery and not dead on the road.. miss your humor and reviews. Blessings to all who cared for you and helped nurse you back. God bless
WOW! Sorry to hear you were tagged by a car but glad to see you are on the mend. Your comments about nurses are spot on. They do make a bad situation less stressful. Looking forward to your future show’s. Have fun with physical therapy.
Great to see you back. I had two recent accidents , was thrown through the air by a car so appreciate a little of what you have gone through. You have a great support and I wish you a speedy recovery. Love your car reviews!
Hey MotoMan, first off: glad you're OK. Three years ago my uncle, the biggest car guy in my life (he owned an (not simultaneously, but there was a lot of overlap) M6 GC, E39 M5, many E39 540i's, Foxbody 'stangs, C7 Z06, Chevelle, old Fiat racecars, Gen 1 Mustangs, 280SEL, stock (NASCAR-style) racecars, VW Bug, GMC Syclone, etc; I'm forgetting some) passed away after 5 months in a medically induced coma. He was 41 and was the one of the biggest influences on my becoming a car enthusiast. He was up in Marin County (SF Bay Area) with some friends and fell down a fligh of stairs, hitting his head at the bottom. For 5 months we waited for him to begin his road to recovery and exit the coma, but in the end pneumonia got to him. I miss him dearly. What you said about nurses really hit home for me because of that experience. In October, I was in the passenger seat in a friend's W213 E63 S Wagon on a backroad. My friend, irresponsibly, had the car in drift mode (AWD --> RWD and no traction -- in a 600+ HP car) and went to pass an SUV that was going 10 MPH under the speed limit in a passing zone. He got on the throttle too early trying to get back in the lane and pushed the rear end out, sending the front end of the car into a curb. After hitting the curb, we flipped 4 times and landed upside down, taking down a tree and a mailbox in the process. Neither of us sustained any injuries other than minor cuts and scrapes, but I know how close I was to death that day. I definitely drive a bit slower now, and I also really connect with what you said about the second lease on life. In conclusion to my relatively long comment, I will say that I wish you a speedy recover and am glad to hear that you have had a positive experience so far in recovering. It's important to keep in mind that pedestrian deaths have gone up recently while driver/passenger deaths have dropped. Cars get safer but heavier, and people get more distracted. Love your content, and I'm glad to see you've got stuff in store for us. Thanks!
Glad to hear that you’re recovering. Take as much time as you need and we’ll be here when you return. Also we’re glad they you’ll have some truly wonderful friends filling in for you during your absence. All the best
Wow, I thought you were on vacation. My goodness, bro I am so happy you are alive. My respect for Roman and Tommy has just multiplied infinitely. You better believe I am going watch your shows more than once regardless who the presenter is. Get well soon , motormantv to the world.
OMG, what can I say, God Speed recovery. There was obviously someone looking out for you from above.... Family always comes first in these situations and you also find out who your real friends are as well. It's great that you have both. Look after yourself and look forward to seeing you back on screen soon.
So sorry and so thankful. Sorry you have to go through this ordeal but so thankful you're recovering well, as it could have been so much worse. But also sorry that I did not initially realize that you were the pedestrian in your thumbnail! I wish you the best and a continued (quick) recovery. IMO, there is only one "Motoman" and I look forward to your video return!
Thank God you’re still here and able to function normally. Will pray for a full and speedy recovery. Kudos to Brian and Roman for stepping up to the plate for you (and us). Awesome stuff!
Dear Motoman so grateful someone up there looked after you, grateful to the hospital and the crew there, grateful to your amazing family and your friends. New start for you and for us too. Love you my friend! ❤️
Oh. My. God. I can’t believe that happened to you but I’m glad you’re alive! You are one of my fav car youtubers and it would have been devastating to lose you. I hope your recovery goes well and be safe out there.
Glad that you are still with us, honesty one my favorite RUclipsrs. God bless you sir. Looking forward to the upcoming episodes and your recovery as well. God speed.

Dear George... Blessings (🙏🏿) to you from Atlanta and wishing you a continued wonderful recovery!🌞 We will be here waiting for ya when you are able to get back in the drivers seat.👍🏿

J High Why is it so hard for you to respect other people’s beliefs? Believe what you want. My beliefs are not better than yours. They are just mine.
We all thought it was 35 MPH until we read the police report . . . Thanks for thinking of me, Blake.

@Robert Blackford Not surprised. If you want a really good pedestrian detection system, then use a modern Volvo.
I joined your channel after this incident….very glad your family and friends helped with your recovery. Appreciate you and that you are still with us.
Best wishes from Saudi Arabia!
You are one of the few trusted automotive opinions on the media today
Glad you're OK fella and good to see you've found a silver lining to that cloud.
