      the only true god is allah. not only is he invisible, he likes to hire human assassins to do the work which he is incapable of doing. but yeah, he cant animate. coz he got no hands.

    Amazing work! I really think you guys should showcase some of the capabilities of EBSynth with colorization as well!

    How did you deal with the nightmare shot with head rotation. I've found that when you have multiple keyframe pretty near each other, ebsynth make some jumcuts inbetween. How did you manage that in that Al Pacino's red hat shot?

    How can we fix the issue with the head turns and occlusions?

      More keyframes. =)

  • @lukasbieri
    @lukasbieri 4 года назад +1

    Amazing! What is the workflow with multiple keyframes, does the result need to be stitched/blended together in post or does EBSynth blend between the various provided keyframes automatically?

    • @secretweapons1199
      @secretweapons1199  4 года назад +3

      Right now, you have to do the blending manually in the post-process. So it's a good idea to set some overlap in your individual outputs to have some space later for the crossfade. In the full version of EbSynth, there will be automatic blending, but we can't estimate the release date yet, sorry :(

    Fantastic! Do you have any recommended settings for using this kind of transfer?

    • @secretweapons1199
      @secretweapons1199  4 года назад

      Actually the only setting I think is worth tweaking is the de-flicker parameter and the mapping. The rest, we think, works best in the default setting. I got these Irishman results with the default setting, but if I wanted to get maybe a bit smoother result, I would increase the de-flicker to 2. The higher the de-flicker is, the longer the synthesis holds together but it starts to look more rubbery, so it's always kind of a compromise.

    This good, but I have seen deep fakes achieve better results. I think this is a good starting point. Looking forward to how this develops.

    • @noedits5543
      @noedits5543 3 года назад +1

      true but deep fake can only work on face whereas ebsynth can work on anything.

    You used EBSynth on an already de-aged version of de Niro, no need to pat yourself on your back so much.

    It's looks like converting a HD quality in to a low res .... nothing more

    • @spearcy
      @spearcy 3 года назад

      Not at all. The conversions in the new video only target the areas converted in the keyframe changes. Example: if you change the skin but not the eyes, the eyes are left alone in synth vid. If it were simply a matter of converting HD to low res, the entire scene, including the eyes, would also be affected. But that's not the way EbSynth works.
