What do you mean? Foul Play uses the TARGET'S attack stat.
Foul play uses the attack of the user and the target not just the target

@@hernanj03 It is just the target. It has always been just the target. It's why you see it on bulky sets. It lets them deal damage in ways they can't do otherwise.
@@cartergamegeek I was just confused about the way foul play works. I googled it and figured it out. If the user gets an increase in attack that gets calculated with the targets attack but not the users attack without any boosts.
@@hernanj03 However Dark S.T.A.B of the user does add to it and Dark boosting Abilities so a Dark Pokemon using Foul Play deals 50% more damage to the target using their Attack stat. Stage buffs effect damage like Swords Dance. But the user getting an Ability bonus is cool. Yveltal makes one of the best Foul Play users for this reason as Dark Aura makes it hit harder plus the S.T.A.B.

My boi Gengar. My favorite pokemon and a staple on my teams. Very sad they took away Levitate... why couldn't they give it cursed body as a hidden ability. That would have boosted its competative nature as it would make an opponent guess what kind of gengar they are working against. Sadge :(

Sassy nature: max hp, max sp def
Avalanche, Dragon Tail, Thunder Wave/Toxic, Substitute/helping hand
I haven't seen anyone try an a sp def Gyarados yet. Wonder if it's a possible moveset for future use

Bro, I love your videos. I've been running Life Orb Tsareena aswell but mine has U-Turn and Facade with Rapid Spin. I might change Facade for High Jump Kick. Also, you should try Scarf Krookodile with Moxie It's prety fun tu use, and with HP investment it can live Jugulis' hurricane, but I think Jugulis always lives Stone Edge even with Max Atk and Adamant nature.
It would be pretty fun to see what you could do with it.

Did they change the way Foul Play works? You said that the Foul Play didn't do as much as you expected which made you think the Toadcruel was defensive-- I thought Foul Play used only the opponents attack stat against them?
Funny thing: I just checked now that that Toedscruel had a max Attack IV. That's probably why didn't do much.
Foul Play does in fact still hit the target with their own Attack stat. It's why you see it on bulky sets. The move is the same as it was in other gems.

OMG... I usually only play VGC but wanted to check out this Tsareena build as I'm trying to add her to my team too, but holy **** singles feel like such a pain to watch and play!... Every other turn is a switch! Like WTF... It just feels so long and so stupid. I mean, I'm glad it's there for those who like it, but it's just not for me. Imma stick to VGC.
