My initial thoughts for this manga is that there are a lot of ways the mangaka could go with this. They could take the Vinland Saga route and later down the line Nomamoto-similarly to Thorfinn-could be forced to finally see her mistakes and realize the amount of pain and suffering she’s brought to a group of aliens just because of a few bad eggs. On the other hand, the mangaka might decide that she and the other dude (forgot his name) could keep killing this entire group of aliens but eventually be caught and killed or punished for their actions, kind of like Eren from AOT by the end of the series kills 80% of the population and is killed. Anyways, this was a good video and I’m surprised your Channel is this small after years of uploading. Keep doing your thing my man 👍
Yeah it feels like it's yet another story that if you only look at the start could be seen as pro-whatever it is that the story is actually against. Or it could just be really racist but not only would that suck it would be thematically boring cause they just already arrived at their main point pretty much immediately. let's hope it's actually nuanced and anti-racist. Personally I'd add (maybe) to the end of this video title lol cause we really don't know where it's going with all this.
It has pretty much the same premise as Gintama , tbh I don't see it as anything special controversial like people make it out to be , just shock values .
Ah yes. "Projecting".Kinda like an ignorant American commenting on an entirely different culture or assuming to know, what the authors intentions are. Also " right direction"?! Who are you to determine how people should consume media and stories?! And even assuming, that everything you mentioned is true, there is nothing wrong with following villain protagonists! Art should challenge, not placate! Its not like any normal person will suddenly get the urge to end random people and consume them! And your limited way of looking at the story is so narrowminded! I bet you would look at it entirely differently, if the aliens ended up being a methaphor for the rich. You know, "eat the rich"? I bet thinking about it that way makes you suddenly, for no apparent reason, like the story so much more, doesnt it?!
