I moved here from San Diego a year ago and I feel so fortunate to live in this beautiful and old-fashioned friendy town where you know all your neighbors well and everyone looks out for each other and we treat our many visitors with friendly respect. You don't see that anywhere else. Plus the only crime we've had here since I have been here is some kid who was stealing lawn ornaments from people's front yards. I wonder what the police do all day lol. They are all friendly and respectful as well.
When you first move here the whole town welcomes you warmly and they will give you anything you need if you ask they tell you. We call it Paradise here and A Mile and a Half Closer to Heaven.
Everyone should come here at least once in their lives if only to witness all the beauty of nature here that pictures and videos don't even do justice to. It is good for the soul. None of us here have stress, anxiety, or bad attitudes and we take kindly to strangers. 🐻

I'll bed dju doan even know what plethora means (Three Amigos). Great video. Been bringing my family there for a mini-vacation every summer/fall for 15 years, Actually introduced my (now defunct) motorcycle club to an annual ride from Sandy Eggo to Big Bear Lake for extended weekends.

The nature is beautiful & yes just 2-3 hours to drive from South CA, but this`s probably it .... Stinky& shallow manmade lake drying out very rapidly with fish & everything else in it due to horrible drought in CA & unlimited water pumping for winter activities. Everything is very simple & limited.... but the seasonal prices !!!

Love it BUT NO ORGANIC FOOD `WHY' gas is extra-charge extra for non sprayed food in restaurants pl s many people have food allergies and to hip to not wanting chemicals in food `we got enough fro the air `not in BB OR COURSE:} LOVE IT!
