When the original first came out, my little sister played this mission over and over shooting everyone she could. XD this is literally the one instance that got her to start loving First Person Shooters and turned her into a sniping machine on the PC. I am thankful for this level as it helped me bond with my sister over videogames. Thank you for letting little girls mow down innocents with a machine gun, Call of Duty. You brought a family closer together.
You can laugh but terrorists are humans too and I know for a fact that in real life terrorist attacks there has been people spared after they pleaded for their lives. It's harder to shoot someone when you're looking at their faces than to shoot random crowds of screaming people.

You can find in Yuri in No Russian, after going up stairs in the begining, go back near the metal detectors and you can find Yuri on the ground, it will show his name and when you shoot him, it will say "Friendly fire will not prohibited" or whatever it says, If he does not appear go further into the mission and check again, hope this helps anyone wanting to see Yuri in No Russian

I remember being 10 years old and getting an Xbox for Christmas after I begged my dad for a month to buy me MW2. They thought the game was pretty cool bc there was a mission where you climb up a cliff. That opinion changed shortly after they saw me play the next mission 😂😂😂
I just realized when Makarov says "Remember... No Russian" means no speaking in Russian during the mission and not "No Russian" as in no leaving anyone else in the Russian airport alive, which is why Makarov talks in English the entire time along with the group you are sent with. So no one who questions their nationality by language can identify they are from a Russian origin infact..... (Which is funny considering they all have slav accents but Okay...)

Ok, I wasn't gonna buy the remaster, but since they visibly got the balls to include this mission, still, despite the fact all the assholes on the planet are gonna complain, I will reconsider.
My thing is is how will our government explain one of our men assisting in the slaughtering of all those people? And this is just to gain trust. I think this was a bad plan from the get go. Amazing campaign though I can't remember how young I was playing this, but I would play it all the time. It's trippy because even my father who was a gangmember says he found it hard to kill the civilians. That says a lot.
Everyone is upset about that there is no multiplayer and this is including me but they had to do this because modern warfare player base can't be split in 3 sections of war zone, multiplayer and MW2 multiplayer . They want us to stay on warzone and MW multiplayer
My problem with this is that the plot to fix relations is thrown aside for plot twists of betrayal and it kinda gets sloppy but is still easy to follow. Still a great game and cannot wait to play its remastered.
I remember watching my sister play this mission when I was like either 8 or 9, thinking to myself "damn, this is crazy...". Now I'm 16 and I understand perfectly now!😂
