This looks like an actual battle! The in-game battles have moments that slow down to an often lengthy degree. THIS looks more akin to what you'd expect the greatest warrior in the galaxy to fight like (minus the seizures and clipping)! Maybe story battles look like this and we're always playing easier versions of them...
Why do I think that Meta Knight’s usual Affogato is soaked by the strongest brew of coffee known to Man and that is why our man went bonkers in the footage as his ADHD is acting up too soon
This is true for the most part, though some bosses in the series especially the final ones, have ace attacks up their sleeve that when hit you suffer a lot of damage. But otherwise I completely agree. 👍🏻

Ah yes, the scare tactic of running circles around ya. Jokes aside when I first saw that I died of laughter and had to keep it in. Probably gonna fix the couple of issues with the hit box of the upper caliber due to me trying to see if I could make it go up. I have learned more about basil so I can update this once more.
Love this. Genuinely allows a cinematic and actually difficult fight. If HAL stepped up difficulty to make fights like this- they’ll probably be more memorable.

Honestly I like to think Forgotten Lands was HAL's way of experimenting with 3D battles to prepare us for an upcoming Kirby 3D fighting game

Kirby Battles are always hard by "how often do you get hit" rather than "how much damage the enemy does"
