@@CaptainCFalcon I'm not sure there's a single kirby final boss where he's beaten them without help of some kind. Even in this game it was a 4v1.
@@RobbertRobbert12345 actually the only boss Kirby has canonically REQUIRED help for was 02 because of the Crystal Shards. Every other time the help was optional. In Magalor's case specifically it definitely was alone.

like 90% of this fight could realistically be a totally acceptable boss battle if the attacks were even just a little longer choreographed
Yeah I was thinking the same thing, especially with how it forces you to make clever use of otherwise unnecessary mechanics like deflecting projectiles or using the ninja grab and slam on the stars.
With a bit of tweaking, this looks like it'd be a super fun fight, and I honestly now want a game that has bosses like this, Kirby or otherwise.

This has been my greatest accomplishment for obvious reasons, and I'm really glad that the algorithm chooses it!

Honestly I think the intro to this boss is cool and fitting, instead of him slowly transforming he just bursts to reality in a bizarre fashion with an attack.

Some of these effects I wish were in the actual game, especially the screen shaking when he teleports. After all, what you're fighting is merely a shell with complete master control over the fundamentals of the universe.

There is some script in the game that tells the boss where kirby is on the screen relative to just the boss, but i don't think it can be tweaked to tell the spikes where kirby is relative to them. Though i did something similar to what you're saying in my newest mod, where magolor ex spawns spikes right below the player right away, instead of spawning a portal first
Maybe that work is cut out for you.

I like when Magalor gets stunned and slowed, he takes a moment, then proceeds to keep attacking you at blitzing speeds instantly.

The fact that you just barely made it with a sliver of health really adds to the suspense of the fight.

Scratch that. This mod makes Revenge of Dream Land look easier than the main game itself.
Honestly such a cool boss fight, I live to see bosses where it's just one extremely aggressive attack after the other.
Not even with the hammer ability would be able to defeat that unfair version of Magolor Soul.

@@perrykv7312 I can think of multiple attacks that'd likely just ignore that. (Reality-Warping Black Hole, Dark Laser, Shadow Cut, Dark Spark, Ice Hammer, Dragon Flare, and Sword Frenzy) Also you can't even hit him most of the time while crouching.

Magolor tries in vain to grab kirby at 6:10. Alas, his grip is too weak, and he succumbs to his injuries.

We can agree that that final blow on Magolor Soul was perfectly timed. His death animation has his model facing the screen, & that attack had him facing the screen as he surged forward. Probably the best perfect timing in this video.

Honestly it might be called "unfair", but man does this fight look epic. I feel this mod capture the speed and insanity of soul bosses and it is just beautiful to see the difficult. Would love to play kirby this difficult.

This was awesome, really just an anime final boss tbh.
I just had a devilish idea I wanted to suggest, Galacta Knight in every room but you have to beat him to progress, in every room.
Sure it's possible, but it's tedious to add him to every stages so I don't feel like wasting my time just for that

A boss made so difficult, that even Zero, the lord of all darkness, is left speechless.
man, I really hate myself because if this was in the game I would definitely try to do it powerless/not guard, and the worst thing is that I see that it is completely possible, but you have to memorize the tricky attacks (the painful attacks to learn are the ultra abilities, just look at that sword spamming)
whoever made this mod needs to make this with every secret final boss on kirby
It kind of already exists in Forgotten Land with the Chaos Elfilis duplication glitch.

I suggest increasing Kirby's movement speed and dodge distance to match up with forgotten land, it's something I've been wanting, it might make combat feel better.

@@pinkchococookie imagine having to perfectly time your attacks to do optimal damage and avoid attacks , stone my be free i frames but you don't exactly have many ranged options , leaf does have better ranged attacks but they all have end lag , so you still need to know when and when not to attack

This battle looks epic! This modification to the game makes Magolor's combat look realistic because of its unpredictable nature, unlike how it originally was where Magolor seemed a lot more clearly like he was just doing what he was programmed to do. Great job! 🌟
