The low end equalization makes it sound like a bass player is with you.
Seriously though. Haven't heard a guitar sound this rich in the low end. It's usually kinda airy
Sounds more like an octaver is being used here. Probably limited only to E and A string.
@@banjokastooie highly doubt that. I think he playing in drop d. Nylon guitars have warm sound. This one is recorded with piezo pick-up and probably using EQ in preamp
@@lulube11e111 Listen again. There are two clear notes going on for each bass note. Piezo pickup signals can be split by the string if desired.
Thank you all for checking it out! The low end on strings E and A are generated by a special circuit board installed on my Godin, which adds an extra layer on top of the original sound but an octave lower.
This song reminds me of watching Spiderman 2 as a kid. Feeling so nostalgic. 🙂
"Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid" for me)
@@user-lu2xc5lp8g 😀👍
Same
These chords at 2:28 are crazy damn I can't stop listening to that part
me too
yeah this is the beauty of jazz and especially finger style jazz, jazz voicing and inversion pattern take years for people to build up and Walter is one good demonstrator !! Good job Walter !!
Beautiful

One of the most iconic movie montages in history
Butch & Sundance. Great film.
Yes the bicycle scene and music were classic.
I usually play your music while i eat with family...thank you good sir!
i do the same!!
You seem very polite.
What a very cool idea! Thank you!
That's really beautiful 🙏 good idea🤞
I can play Smoke on the Water on the E string
@JBurgs03 Classic! 👍🏼 😊
Best comment I’ve ever read lol
That's enough for be virtuoso
Haha! :)
Walter Rodrigues Jr Thanks for sharing your music with the world and for replying to my comment!!
Listening to this again today (maybe the 500th time) I was appreciating the reharmonization. Brilliant job!
This is such a wonderful rendition and performance, thank you for sharing it with the world!
Good vids btw
This is remarkable ... an excellent translation / rendition, keeping true to the original.
I'm amazed and certainly entertained.
I was about to sleep and then "Walter Rodrigues Jr just uploaded a video". Never-mind. Guess I'll have to listen to this a hundred times. Truly amazing and utterly beautiful arrangement. Your playing brilliantly on point as always. I never get tired of this. Much love.
Ha! Thanks so much :)
Moon Talker this is awful. Guy plays right notes at right time, but has no artistry at all. May as well just feed the sheet music into a computer and get a better result.
@@oiudatropen9548 dumba**
@@oiudatropen9548 somebody's jealous haha
@@oiudatropen9548 : You are devoured by envy. Show what you do.
The pure skill in your playing is remarkable. Beautiful.
and he can do it while maintaining a smile which is something I can never do without drooling
The man knows how to stroke a guitar. Nice jazzy chords. Bravo.
your skill has reached a level where you don't have to buy another guitar again.... (the best guitars should just be given to you for free)... amazing
Wow! That's the best rendition of that tune that I've ever heard.
*Casually bites hot dog while a police car chase is happening*
I understood that reference!
I don't , please run it down for me
@@carloscarlos7044 in spider man 2, this song was playing in the background of a scene, where Peter was eating a hotdog while a police car chase was happening
@@minoo2949 thank you . It's a generational thing because I associate this song with Butch Cassidy and the Sundance kid
*PIZZA TIME*
This was some of the nicest 3 minutes I've spent on the internet, great arrangement!
For a while now I've spent most of my time listening to and watching Gypsy jazz players doing some unworldly things on guitar. It's phenomenal. Their speed and accuracy is incredible. However, I'll take the beautiful guitar playing of Walter Rodrigues Jr over them because of the love and beauty he puts into his playing. Walter's playing is special and spiritual indeed.
This man's mastery of harmony and flow is astounding.
Always amazed!
Not only the voicings and melodies are great, but the swing of your right hand is flawless.
Ho potuto dare solo un pollice in sù, ma se potevo non smettevo per 3 minuti.. FANTASTICO!!!
Even if he plays it over and over, it never gets old.
Bonjour de France !
Merci pour cette belle interprétation et pour ce nouveau partage très plaisant. C'est toujours un grand plaisir de vous voir jouer.
Bonne journée à vous et à votre famille.
Jean-Jacques.
Note.
"Raindrops Keep Fallin' on My Head" is a song written by Hal David and Burt Bacharach for the 1969 film Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.
The song has been covered very numerous times.
In 1970 it was covered in French by French singer Sacha Distel, whose version ”Toute La Pluie Tombe Sur Moi”.
Hi. I'm a professional drummer so I appreciate great music. You play amazing guitar. Absolutely love listening to your playing.
I love Raindrops Keep falling on my head. You have great feel. Thank you for bringing joy to my world and many others.
Andy From London England.
Just listening to this and seeing his face, how he really enjoys what he's playing and listening from his guitar. That's so freaking relaxing.
Pure joy in your face and my heart
This is exactly what I listen to whenever I go to a coffee shop now. It's my go to, it's so soothing! One of the baristas at my local Starbucks noticed I always have my earphones in listening to the same video on youtube whenever I'm sat in, and when I shared with them what it was, the next time i went in and ordered my caramel mac, I noticed this was playing!! Awesome job on this dude. The most relaxing cover of this song i've heard and I love it!!
What an awesome story!
Raindrops are falling from my eyes, Walter..... You really did this one so perfectly... Simply awe inspiring.... So beautiful, man, I love it .... I love it. Thank you. I'm a studying jazz guitarist In college right now and this has deeply, deeply inspired and moved me. Wonderful
Best wishes to you!
So, you have any albums out? I'd buy them in a heartbeat :)
Walter's smile tells it all 👍
I remember hearing the intro arrangement decades ago. I don't remember where I heard it or who arranged it, but I felt very nostalgic.
sir. just wanna say thank you for the music you play. its these songs that my father loved. i wish i knew your channel earlier and perhaps showed him when he was still around.. but at least i get to listen to these and remember him.
Thank you Paulo 🙏🏻
An orchestra coming out of just one guitar .. masterpiece!
This song comforts me in moments of worry that flood my mind and sometimes suffocate me, it seems that I will not stand. This song reminds me that one hour everything will pass. And with this arrangement on the guitar, it was even more beautiful. Thank you very much!! 🇧🇷

Wow this is absolutely incredible! And some of those voicings too, amazing sir.
Every time this guy takes on a classic he totally destroys it. Looking forward to even more great content as always
This gives a more light-hearted feel to the song. Really changes the whole emotion of the song. Even with the lyrics intact, I'm still getting a whole different meaning.
This should be called Raindrops Keep Soulful Inversions Falling On My Head
Soulful inversions keep falling on my head**
I wasn't expecting that. Beautiful job thanks for uploading!
This guy is my new favourite player. Normally I'm listening to rock guitarists but this guy takes it to a new level. Incredible. A guitar master
I could listen to all your play whole day
Amen, brother. This was amazing. The ease with which you play is hypnotising - truly gifted. And might I add: Godin makes a mighty fine instrument. To top it off, nicely recorded, clear, crisp, very distinct low-end without being muddy. Kudos to you sir.
amazing tone, especially the bass notes, love that!
This magnificently demonstrates what a marvel of engineering the human hand is, and the programing of the brain. I'm in awe of how he can play like that!
Класс! Заворожило! Последний флажолет вывел из транса 😁

Are there any songs that you play that sound lousy...? You are so good at making a guitar sing...… Keep it coming Walter. You inspire many of us to be better players.
Walter, you're such a talented musician! I'm blown away by your rendition!
The feeling you transmit when playing is undoubtedly a divine gift, thank you for your music.
Nice sound, nice guitar, nice player, all magnific!

LOVELY YOUR PLAYING IS JUST FROM ANOTHER WORLD...
Wow this just popped up in my recommended and I have to say absolutely beautifully played. I love the small variations you played and the faces you make when you're playing, you can tell you really enjoy playing this, puts a smile on my face too.
Thank you for the beautiful sounds good sir👍🙏💯
The intro gave me Zelda’s lullaby vibes.
I think can just listen to your guitar playing all weekend. Been listening for over a year and everytime i feel like I'm young again in a safe carefree bubble for the duration of your playing. Nostalgic and pure bliss, something everyone deserves. Thanks Walter
Sir, that was unreal. I can get my fingers in the right places on the fretboard at the right times, but... I can't even imagine doing it as well as you do. You make the extremely difficult look extremely easy.
First time I’ve heard this song was in the Spider-Man movie. Nice play 👍🏽
What about butch cassidy and the sundance kid

Clean, sweet, honest and beautiful lines. Great skill and no nonsense jazz. Thanks Walter you're one of the best out there.
I just whispered "wow" to myself when I finished watching your video. This was such a heartfelt rendition and it's perfect to ehar and unwind with after a long day. Thanks for this, Walter!
First couple chords sounded like Ocarina of Time

Ladies and gentlemen, yet one more that's going to burn his guitar. Practice, dude! Do YOU!
