I would add learning software development fundamentals - its a common complaint for data scientists. Also, more job opportunities in MLE, rather than data science.
@@ShawhinTalebi learning MLOps will probably in effect teach them, so a course on that. Zoomcamp has one for free. Otherwise I think learning about modular code and OOP concepts in python should suffice

I find the teaching process forces me to find the knowledge if I don't already have it. And if I am missing something, people will have no problem letting me know in the comments 😅
