Arthur Darvill look so happy to be there ! It's been so long, i wish he could get a cameo, like there would be a story around him in the past during an episode and he doesn't notice anything the whole time because the doctor whould do everything so it does not mess the time line xD
0:53 WHAT THE ACTUAL HELL BRO?! WHY WOULD YOU SAY THAT IN FRONT OF 2 WOMEN AND A WHOLE AUDIENCE!? Especially if the audience had families in it!? And in front of Freema and Jenna, THE MAIN GUESTS TOO!??! Props to Arthur for that "sure" to de-escalate the weird comment. International treasure 🫶
I think his comment came out slightly wrong. The context is that the north of England is well known for people going out to pubs wearing very little in freezing cold weather. I think that's what he was going for but it came out a bit weird.
I remember when Jodie was asked what past companion actor she'd have wanted to work with, she said Arthur Darvill. First I thought that was a little random but it makes a lot more sense knowing they share a birthday and keep in touch over that.
Wow um they haven't aged???? haha all so beautiful, lovely people, great actors. Fun to see this. Sad about the fact we didn't get Victorian Clara as the actual companion, I really think he shoulda done that.
The easy part of the companions though is the experience is new for each one, so basically, there is no need really, for them to have previous knowledge about the Doctor and his world.
mommy ❤ i love her hag humour i love how much life has changed her i love that… she was pregnant and still willing to come out and be funny for us? not that she had to but it is a privilege to hear from her.
You had Sylvester McCoy era. Then you had a few years break. Then You had the Paul McCann film. Which they hoped would lead to a TV series. But at the time it was hated by fans and critics. Then you had a few years break and the the Christopher Eccleston series.
Oww, why did you cut the part where John Barrowman comes on stage on his way to his photo opp. I was ther and sat it I was stud by the stairs and he asked me to move to get up
Is it just me or was the questioner just a bit off. Asking people about their childhood doctor, when they grew up when it wasn't around. Asking them how it was meeting russell when two out of the three didn't work with him, just adding moffat as an afterthought. The comment about naked women on new years. Just a bit of a yikes in my opinion. Put me off and I couldn't finish watching it
Actually Freema was born in 1979 and Arthur was born in 1982. So they could well have memories of watching it in the 80s. Only Jenna is a bit too young to remember it, being born in 1986. But it did get repeated on TV in the 90s, especially on UK Gold and the Paul McGann film was broadcast in 1996. Also the comment about girls on nights out in Newcastle, Geordie girls are infamous for wearing skimpy clothes even in cold weather. But yeah, maybe better not to mention that. But I think before this, he'd been interviewing Craig Charles, Danny John-Jules and Robert Llewellyn from Red Dwarf who were more near-the-knuckle than these younger actors who are probably afraid of getting cancelled if they say the wrong thing. So this might have put him in a more adult-orientated frame of mind at first.
Damn imagine if they hadn`t told Arthur. Reading the script: Wait I`m dying? You mean I´m fired? Why did nobody tell me? A week later, oh here´s the new script when Rory comes back to life :)
Seeing Freema and Jenna together -- my heart.
Arthur is great as well. He was great as Rory.
Mes deux compagnes préférées ! ❤
La fille impossible et la fille qui est partie...
Now I want a Clara and Martha spin-off 😁
What an interesting combination of actors/characters. I enjoyed hearing their stories and perspectives
3 of my favourites, didn't ever think of these 3 being together, never realised how happy it would make me seeing them all together!
Always interesting to have an all-companion panel, and this was one of the best. Lovely stories!

His exit still one of the greatest exit scenes of a companion.
@@ianhirst1148 the ponds deserved better
My 3 favourite companions in one interview!!!!! ❤
This is a great panel. Each companion from a different era more or less. How great.
I kinda wish we got to see Martha and Mickey show up in A Good Man Goes To War along side 11. To see an old companion with a new Doctor
wow 3 companions from 3 different doctors. excited to watch this
What a trio🙌🏻

What a weird thing to say, Arthur handled that so well you can see the "what the fuck" in his voice. Such a weird thing to say, host seems a bit off
@@Danziii Even the look he gave to the audience. Actual legend. Like "r U guys seeing this??"
yeah that was a weird comment
Oh no, the mere mention of scantily dressed women is too much... wait until you see the women.

I find it very funny how the girls always look for Arthur to answer first!
so jenna was hiding a baby bump with that jumper...
great panel! it’s nice to hear them so honest in a space where they can really share the companion experience
The Doctor’s nurse and The Doctor’s Doctor
I love that
Give each of them a damn microphone why are they having to share one? We know how much it cost to attend this event

They did also star in Broadchurch together alongside David Tennant so I think that could be another reason why
Nearly went to this but then I saw the prices and hard noped out of there. Good to see it here though.
gotta live up to the name "monopoly events" i guess

It's been almost 18 years since Freema first filmed Doctor Who and she literally looks the same (besides her beautiful hair ofc). Insane!
Excellent I enjoyed that .Thank you 😊
A surprise to be sure but a welcome one
The Doctor actually gave that advice that Arthur used in his audtion to Kazran in A Christmas Carol, act nervous because you're going to be anyway.
The easy part of the companions though is the experience is new for each one, so basically, there is no need really, for them to have previous knowledge about the Doctor and his world.
Jenna didn’t leave in 2012 as she started in 2013 even though he first episode was in 2012 she left in 2015

Jenna is my perfect woman, will watch her horrible rom coms just to watch her lol

I really wish we could have kept Victorian Clara.

I need an Endgame type crossover soon. 😭

Damn kinda sucks knowing we were close to getting a Victorian clara the whole way through. It would've been great imo.
IT WAS RARE, I WAS THERE!!
Same
The Ponds were great.
I wish there had been a whole season with the Victorian governess loved that Clara
Is Arthur high?
oh she was hiding the pregnancy back than wasn`t she? :)
All totally different personalities. Jenna is high fashion.
Ah, the good old days of Doctor Who, when it was actually good… RIP
Darvill is so annoying and smug.
How?
@@kyledawson871Sibionic is probably northern and finds him too posh.
