Human trafficking should be a mandatory life sentence.
FIVE years???? The rest really let off? The cops work so hard and these people get a slap on the wrist.
Out in less than three years
Maybe they will be taken care of while in prison.
How can judges clamp down on human trafficking when they are benefitting as well.
Imagine how much the investigation and prosecution cost for such pathetic consequences
We the tax payer spent thousands via the police on this investigation, which I must say bravo to the investigation team, for what! Absolutely despicable! The police must of felt gutted with this result, what a joke 😡
Shame on the judge! These garbage people should have got minimum of 25 years or more in prison
The sentence was a total insult to the poor women who have lived through this nightmare. It is appalling that the legal fraternity feel this is an acceptable punishment and deterrent for such a vile abhorrent crime, which has such a devastating impact on the victims lives. If this is genuinely the value they place on those people’s misery, they should be ashamed.
Don’t forget some of these girls willingly do and continue.
