The speed version of this dish uses garlic powder and tomato paste on pieces that have been cut smaller and first microwaved for a couple of minutes (to dewater them). You do need to add salt then. You can add mint and a bit of cayenne pepper to further mimic shakshuka. And, like shakshuka, it goes great with a fried egg atop.

You may want to include it in the title even, to make it more visible in searches. In a similar vein, if you have any recipes for rutabaga/swede/turnip, please bear this in mind.

When you say two tomatoes and 125g of grated tomatoes, I always don't know what to think. Because a medium sized tomatoe is usually about 125 grams in my book and gives about the same or a little less of grated tomatoes. Two regular tomatoes should give at least 200 grams grated tomatoes. Much more than the 125 grams. Or do you take away the skin of the tomatoe while grating? I always add it to the grated material and have no problem with that.
I don´t add the skin, usually 2 medium tomatoes gives me 125 grams sauce, but every tomato is different, it´s ok if you end up with more, no big deal :) Much love
