love your new trailer. I think it is the best purchase of all as now you can carry more items and bigger items and you don't have to damage your brand new car especially with the white upholstery, a trailer will keep your interior much more cleaner. Cheers bjorn
Just a crazy idea: A very cool camera angle would be if you place the camera on top of the trailer roof (maybe with a stand) and film down on Optimus Prime while driving... similar to those live cameras in Jumbo Jets. Would surely look great.
I have now seen four of the Model X _'out in the wild'_ around Los Angeles. The first was a stunning blue that happened to be exiting the 110 FWY Southbound on the same street I was, and I managed to snap some photos. The second was a Silvery looking Gray, also on the 110 FWY, but Northbound near Downtown LA where I was going to a concert. The third one was a Dark Grey and was in the parking lot at Faraday Future. Then two days ago I finally saw a vibrant RED Model X in the parking lot at a local hospital.
That park and charge place is cool. I think the future will have more of those with a restaurant near by and hopefully wifi, so people can do something while the car charges.
sharing trailer backup little trick. some years ago when using trailer now and then I sometimes forgot which way to turn wheel to get trailer to go that way I wanted while backing up and I would want to look like a boss and not newbie. a old timer just told me that you turn the bottom of steering wheel in the direction you want trailer to go. I know this sounds a bit stupid, but a few times I would jump into car and have a brain freeze and go in the wrong direction, this little trick always made me look like a seasoned trailer guy. Cheers
Half the tune of Dueling Banjos, good tune! Good thing you went with aluminum skin interior, makes for easier cleaning with hose, something wood does not really allow unless it was coated/covered with protector of sorts or is FRP which allows light hosing and if needed cleaning detergent. Now I know what your trailer rear view cam looks like when its operational, hope you got it fixed after it shut down on you. If you had to replace it, should get one that allows you to adjust the camera angle up and down or at least little more downward so you can just see the back end for when you need to park close to a building, curb or sidewalk so you can still lower the ramp door..... You may want to get used to rolling your straps up so they do not tangle. or at least hang the hooks on the edge of the box/crate you store them in to reduce tangling.
That's probably the best designed SuperCharger I've seen! (the new one at the beginning of your video - I commented while the video was playing and didn't realize how long your video was and how many SCs you'd be stopping at!)
i don't know what kind of trailer plug you have but, The 6 and 7 pin plugs in the US have a 12V auxiliary pin that gives the trailer power whenever the car is on. You might want to look in to that for other thing like interior lights too.
It's not very useful because I will always have to remember to put the car lights on. And many times I need lights in the trailer when the trailer is unhitched. Watch video #30 (coming soon) for the solution.
I was thinking about the wireless backup camera. I forgot to say that in the first post, oops. My trailer has a battery on board for the winch, tilt bed, and electric brakes breakaway switch. I use the 12v auxiliary to keep that battery charged.

Mandatory: Espa Bolleland :D If you like challenges, Fv314 Between Dale and Bulken, may be a bit narrow for a Tesla though. Atlanterhavsveien. Nordkapp :D

Maybe in the future will be designed specific trailers for electric vehicles. with solar panels covering the entire surface and regenerative brakes. May have models with a battery pack, imagine additional 50kw !! The cars would have to be produced with specific connectors to receive the energy of the trailer. What do you think?

No, it is disabled due to tow mode, cruise control is still use-able though. Hopefully Tesla works on Autopilot with tow mode to help with "Otto" or trailer tow testing. But there is a difference in aeros and hauling between fifth wheel (goose neck) and tow behind which act differently is their respective ways. Both have side wind issues causing unwanted sway or worse tipping over with strong enough wind and right other conditions.
