Boston carting New Way packing heavy Somerville trash

This morning I went to film in a place I’ve never filmed before. I decided to go to Somerville since I haven’t been there and because I don’t get much Boston carting footage often. I saw many trucks on break and then saw a red primer rental RL so I got footage of that and then while filming that I saw this one leaving a restaurant so I followed it and got it tipping these totes. Some bins say Russelll and Casella on them because they used to have the contract until Boston carting bought them. The black totes are for trash and the blue are for recycling. I saw most recycling bins collected and some where already brought in from residents so I think recycling was done. I have a lot of footage of the Primer truck. Stay tuned for that video. I also saw the Cambridge trucks getting off the highway. Somerville is a good place to film in my opinion because the houses are all close together so I don’t have to chase the trucks and loose them. I saw a Somerville DPW truck but I lost that one because I saw another Truck. Boston carting collects in Somerville, Braintree, Deadham, Walpole, Milton. Most of those towns are a little far from me so I went here instead. I would’ve stopped by Medford to film but I had to get home for something. Enjoy!
