i like that wheel menu mod, something like that is very needed in a game like skyrim, i have been away for a while playing FO4 for the last few years because i ignored that game until i saw it on sale for super cheap and i have been enjoying it, but now suddenly i want to go back to skyrim, skyrim was my first love and it always calls to me to come back, i just don't like making modlists and running into constant issues while modding, it's just such a pain in the ass, it was for FO4 as well, but it was less of a pain as skyrim was for so many years, there were just so many mods i couldn't figure out how to install correctly and it just wears heavy on you and makes you want to give up at times and i most defiantly did stop. the whole reason why i left in the first place was because of an update that bethesda threw in that screwed up the downgrade patcher mod and nobody could fix it for months possible longer so that's why i went to FO4, i have been enjoying FO4 don't get me wrong, but skyrim is where i would rather be, even with this FOLON mod that just came out i still want to play skyrim more.
We do not need new games. Skyrim gets just developed forever into the future by modders, so it looks allways up to date and new content is available :)
@@honinakecheta601 the problem with that is there is still no better engine for the modding than the creation engine so far, other engines might do some things better but won't likely offer as much freedom when it comes to the modding. i think this is why bethesda are attempting to experiment with other engines and trying to sort of mix engines, but not completely drop the creation engine as a whole. like i see a lot of these videos of people creating these visually impressive and amazing skyrim landscape creations via Unreal, but the issue from what i have heard from Unreal is that it's not quite as modifiable as the creation engine and can be a bit more of a pain in the ass sometimes and i doubt bethesda would go for that aspect as well as some other issues, they like owning their tools, with Unreal engine they wouldn't own. so it makes sense that they would further improve on what they have, even though it's old as shit and jank to all hell lol. i know a lot of people complain about old bugs showing up in the new games, that's something of a bethesda problem that they never seem to learn to patch out completely for some odd reason, but they have improved on some things that nobody thought this engine was even capable of doing because of it's limitations, but it's still very old tech with lots of issues. the load screen thing isn't going away, the best thing they can do with load screens is to hide them, i personally liked how they did most load screens in FO4 whenever the player entered any elevator where the game would load into another cell while in the elevator, not all the elevator's worked like this, but many of them in the game worked like that, and it made the load times feel seemeless, but they were long as hell, so for starfield i can see they improved on the timing of these load screens so some things became better where other things didn't sadly. i like that they upgraded the engine, and hope they continue to attempt to make it better, they do need to make some dramatic improvement's on it though, because the engine feels really dated even with the upgrades and the engine is starting to make their games look and feel like indy level made games because of how dated it is.
These days my decision to buy a new game, or at least new to me, is heavily influenced by whether there is a modding community for it. I was just looking today at the modding community for Mount and Blade 2. I may buy it when it is on sale because there is a very robust modding community for it. lol
Finished TESV Skyrim first time in Vanilla back in 2013 and yesterday decided to bought the Anniversary Edition on sale because now I want to play it all over again with all the best mods I can get and making it my own Elder Scroll VI
I recently discovered an older mod called spell research, best RPG mod I have found. I am really loving it so far. Otherwise great mods on this list, every one of them is a gem.
I play mage characters almost all of the time and this one mod really revolutionized my mage experience. Not something everyone will enjoy but definitely a 10/10 for me

You probably already seen it, but I don’t know for sure because I didn’t see it in this video, but there is a standing stone mod designed specifically for that race mod I believe by the same author if I remember right and it’s supposed to be really good. I never did get to try it out, but I think you would probably like it really well

Floating damage causes crashes in Falkreath no matter what version or configuration you are running fair warning. Took me a couple months to trach it down to floating damage. REMOVE /DO NOT USE FLOATING DAMAGE AT ALL!!!
After 6 days and approximately 30 hours of work, I finally got a fully functioning mod order going with 97 mods running flawlessly. I’m about to risk it all as soon as I’m home from work
This is my first time actually modding btw as I’ve always played XBox in the past and just did creation club stuff. If that seems like way too much work for less than 100 mods, give me a little slack

The last 3 days I have been trying to learn how to install mods like “mad world” I always end up messing up something, and it doesn’t work. No need to pay money! I suggest checking a VR modlist on Wabbajack and add mods you like from there. You'll have a modlist to start with which tbh is easier than doing it from the start

@@alballeda2919 I would suggest using a modlist then, for example the NGVO modlist from nexus/wabbajack. It’s a visual modlist, but it has other interfaces such as SPID within the modlist. If you are having trouble installing mods I think this is a good base to use
It depends on what potion you put. There are some potions that applies to your weapon and if you use a number of them, it makes the game crash. I was wondering why this happened until I tried it in a vanilla skyrim list lol (asking me if I want to apply the said potion to my weapon and was allowing me to do it once only if I remembered correctly)
@@CaptPanda I know Lorerims Biggie has gone into it on his discord on its best to avoid potions till it’s fixed. I’m pretty sure it comes down to you having an object like a potion on the wheeler and when you run out it’s still on the UI, so people accidentally try use it not knowing they’re out of potions. Can also happen if for example you put a sword on there and then drop it then try equip it from wheeler. I resetting it from dmenu or just actively being mindful of your potions and consumables will probably make using it fine. Just people don’t do that. I just run consumables in favourites to avoid the potential crash mid fight.
@@CaptPanda i'll be ready! the existing modlist is by far the prettiest and most stable i've played and i've played almost all popular modlists so far.
I'd add Nether's Follower Framework,, Acheron, and Dealing With Backstories. NFF and Acheron because you gotta have that improved party gameplay (and allow followers to fight after you've been defeated so if you win you can get back up), and Dealing With Backstories for that much deeper character creation altering stats to reflect your character's life as far back as childhood, and you can also start at a higher level to represent being older. Description Framework could also a good addition, because RPGs always have that flavor text, however the novelty of it drops off pretty quick. That's why I add Dark Descriptions on top for some dark humor to spice things up.
What do you mean? The main story makes you roleplay as the Dragonborn who is supposedly the one who will defeat Alduin. You can say what you want about "one of the best" but numbers don't lie. It's been how many years since Skyrim released and people still play it. There are new players trying it out and even OG players still play it time to time.

Having freedom of choice and those choices having consequences is the main feature of an rpg which skyrim heavily lacks . Just compare daggerfall's character creation to skyrim's and you will see the difference . RPG stands for role playing game, and some of the mods I mentioned are mods that helps you roleplay specific characters such as The Bestiary mod where you can roleplay as a creature hunter or the Honed Metal mod.. where you can roleplay as an adventurer who buys weapons/gear from blacksmiths. (Usually players had to up their skills in smithing/enchanting to craft better gear, but now you can hire NPCs to do the work for you. Then there is Experience, not entirely roleplaying here, but most RPG games have the same sort of xp gain. (Explore the world/complete quest = gain xp). As for Wheeler mod, some modern RPG games has this type of system so I added it in

I understand what you're saying but you are trying to modernize Skyrim, true rpg would be something like you can kill whiterun jarl and game would accept it give you some consequences and function properly further(capturing dragon etc.) Unfortunately right now such is possible for some reason only in turn based games.

You can reposition them using Immersive Equipment Displays, I recommend "Missile's IED Preset" to make it easy

The numbers don't lie , but they don't mean much when you consider the fact skyrim was streamlined to sell . The numbers are high because anyone can play it without having to think about anything . Just compare daggerfall's character creation to skyrim's and you will see the difference . The main reason that skyrim has a lot of players is the mod support (( which is a good thing because there are a lot of high quality content made by people available for this game ))

It's not that old how many times has Bethesda updated this game and couldn't be fked improving the graphics because the fans do it for free 6 will be released obsolete graphically

Thank you so much! Well.. RPG stands for role playing game, and some of the mods I mentioned are mods that helps you roleplay specific characters such as The Bestiary mod where you can roleplay as a creature hunter or the Honed Metal mod.. where you can roleplay as an adventurer who buys weapons/gear from blacksmiths. (Usually players had to up their skills in smithing/enchanting to craft better gear, but now you can hire NPCs to do the work for you.
Then there is Experience, not entirely roleplaying here, but most RPG games have the same sort of xp gain. (Explore the world/complete quest = gain xp). As for Wheeler mod, some modern RPG games has this type of system so I added it in

I understand what you're saying but you are trying to modernize Skyrim, true rpg would be something like you can kill whiterun jarl and game would accept it give you some consequences and function properly further(capturing dragon etc.) Unfortunately right now such is possible for some reason only in turn based games.
