The Kinks - Days

I’ve got two videos dedicated to my dear old grandma. She’s 93 and her health isn’t the best right now. Hospice says that she only has three weeks to live. That woman did a lot for me. Although she’s not conscious or coherent enough to hear or see these next two videos, I knew I needed to get them done while she’s still alive.
The first up is another Kinks Kover. This single from August 1968 is a powerful song. I’ve played it when I’ve been ghosted, but now I’m playing it for someone about to leave this earth plane. The song hits differently for me with this mindset.
Guitar is a 2021 Guild D1212 12-string acoustic guitar retrofitted with a K&K sound pickup fed into a Boss AD10 acoustic preamp with compression and feedback reduction into a Fender Acoustasonic 30 DSP amp with some light plate reverb.
