Zach & David, GREAT REVIEW!! These are great bottles for your category/selections tonight. I just picked up four bottles of the EH Taylor barrel proof here. $74 a bottle. Also picked up a midwinter night dram at $135. I have not opened the mid winter yet, but the EH Taylor is 🔥 🔥🔥 the two bottles I have not been able to get yet are the COY Hill and the BP rye. Both are on my list. Hoping I can trade to get both of these bottles. I hear they are great!!! I do admit that you guys are two of the best bourbon hunters out there. Keep up the great work. Thank you for the Content. Cheers!!
Found a Stagg Jr 17 for $200. Wasnt sure i’d see another so i grabbed it. No regrets, but then a week later the liquor section manager of my local grocery store hit me up and got some in for $55. 😂😂😂😂 Oh well, i bought another
Let's be real, the idea of lucking out and landing an allocated bottle is an attractive thing. The idea of your bourbon potentially increasing in value is an attractive thing. I know a dozen guys whose eyes were first drawn to bourbon due to the idea they could buy something at retail and immediately have equity in your purchase... and then their journey began trying all types of bourbons. Unpopular opinion, but allocated bourbons are a net positive for the bourbon community.
Pretty much how my journey went down. At first I thought Woodford was the end all be all best bourbon. Then I stumble upon some EHT, Michters limited releases, and now I'm hyped af to find a bottle that is limited.
Agreed. I was a scotch drinker and had the opportunity to buy a bottle of Old Rip Van Winkle for $100 since I spent enough at a store on scotch. Two years later, I’m a HUGE bourbon fan now and have TONS of bourbon. I barely drink scotch anymore.
So we are referring to Batch 9 or Batch 10. When they release them they do it in batches. The only way you can tell is by getting on Buffalo Trace website and looking up the proof on the bottle to see what Batch it is.
Okay. I didn’t realize you were referring to the “barrel proof”. So I guess there is really no distinction between the “single barrel” bottles. Thanks again.
Great list! Thanks for making the video. I have tried them all except for the Russel Reserve Single Rickhouse. Stagg Jr is the best value out of the other 9 in my opinion. Only the Stagg Jr, MWND, ReReRe, MTB go for under 300 on the secondary from what I see. I did a blind with Stagg Jr and EHTBP and Stagg Jr crushed it ( I think it was batch 16). It was me and another guy and we both compared them 100% blind and we both thought the same thing on the palette, node and finish. Stagg Jr 4 Prez!
We live in a time to where people put the tax on others that want to drink specific labels. If the manufacturer doesn't raise the price to collect what it is worth. Surely someone else will.
We are in the trial and error faze of new camera. What looked good on the screen didn’t fully translate to RUclips. We are getting there though. Hang with us!
Ive yet to have a stagg jr i preferred over an elijah craig barrel proof. I dont think they should be over 80 bucks. I just dont think its worth it especislly when benchmark full proof exists and its one of the best things bt makes
Mid tear and its pappy and old fitz decanter series...shows how insane the prices are on that sh*t😂 give me an old soul cask strength single barrel, a good cigar, and sprinkle in a little rare breed...yall can keep the $1000 bottles all to yourselves🤷♂️
UPS lost a full case I ordered from Seelbachs 2 months back..and my MnJ 4gate was on it's way to east TN as of yesterday AFTER making it to my town the night before :(
David, you apparently weren’t able to find the 2022 LE four roses. I was able to get an extra bottle in Greensboro. You are welcome to it for a trade.if interested let me know how I can contact you
mid-tier? These are some interesting bottles available to me, locally. EHT Barrell Proof. 399. JD coy hill 499. Old Fitz 17, one at 799 and one at 1000. Midwinters 350, Magnus Cigar Blend. 250 George T Stagg 1699 Smokewagon experimental rye 699. That's a big hell no from me. The only one I'd even consider is the Magnus Cigar Blend, it was 299, they came down to 250. I'd buy one at 220, just to try, but...

Completely agree on the JD’s. The Rye is one of my all time favs! So thankful for backups!
MWND is $200 plus tax in Upstate NY....if the price keeps going up I may pass on it next year. It's good, not great.
I love this guys… I can’t wait to see your unicorn tier
The price range does sound crazy, but it's true. And we pretty much can't find any of those bottles around here. Still a great video. Cheers guys 🇺🇸🥃
Thanks brother.

Still having two is awesome!

Coming soon!
You referred to the E.H. Taylor as 9 being better than 10. What do these numbers mean and where are you finding the number? Thanks.
So we are referring to Batch 9 or Batch 10. When they release them they do it in batches. The only way you can tell is by getting on Buffalo Trace website and looking up the proof on the bottle to see what Batch it is.
@@bourbonkingdom Sorry for my confusion but I understand that all E.H Taylor are bottled at 100 proof.
Correct they all are except for the Barrel Proof Bourbon and Rye(If that will ever hit the market lol.)
Okay. I didn’t realize you were referring to the “barrel proof”. So I guess there is really no distinction between the “single barrel” bottles.

I dont think id pay over 80 for a stagg jr.
@@LeatherDaddy97 fair enough!
@@fartzy always come down to personal opinion
I have a 12 yr Wild Turkey from 1983ish, think it is still good?
Depends on a bunch of conditions to be honest. How was if stored, is the whiskey hazy or cloudy, how does the Cork look, has it been open.
@@bourbonkingdom okay thanks I will look at those factors...I know it is unopened
I saw the Remus for $108.00 in New Jersey. Going back to get.

Saw MWND today for $150. Bought it last year for $99. In Maine so all prices are supposed to be ‘retail’! Is it worth it?
@@edlower3328 that is the new msrp. They raised it
Working in Delaware I found a Stagg jr for $500, a Cigar Blend for $500, and a Russell's 13 for $1k.
That is crazy!!!
I dig the investment on higher production value. Video clips, background music, and a better camera. This video is a little blurry tho.
We are in the trial and error faze of new camera. What looked good on the screen didn’t fully translate to RUclips. We are getting there though. Hang with us!
Good video! EH Taylor UCUF doesn’t belong in the mid tier category IMHO
Ive yet to have a stagg jr i preferred over an elijah craig barrel proof. I dont think they should be over 80 bucks. I just dont think its worth it especislly when benchmark full proof exists and its one of the best things bt makes
I bought one of the Stagg 17s i have for very low secondary. C922 is better
@@BourbonondaBayou i would agree
Hey let’s hear more about the shoes that were sold! Just a fellow sneaker head here lol.
Sold my sons Yeezys and shipped them. They showed up to the buyers house with the box and no shoes.
@@bourbonkingdom people are crappy man! That’s why I always take pictures of the shoes when I ship them off.
@@bourbonkingdom but also get your son some new balances. Turn him into a real man lol
They both have new balance as well

David no long sleeves ?? 🤣
Midnight Winters Dram over $120 seems slightly overrated. I'd take a Barrell product for $80 over that all day.
Yeah i wont be buying one next year given the new price
Yeah, I bought retail price in abc state at $150.
Prices are getting stupid. Will be last time as other options out there
I had a 117 Angels Share stolen from me in a UPS box “en route” as well! Dirty bastards…
UPS lost a full case I ordered from Seelbachs 2 months back..and my MnJ 4gate was on it's way to east TN as of yesterday AFTER making it to my town the night before :(
Dang. My buddy hunter lost his laptop through ups. 😜
i love the list except the toasted sour mash. its way too low proof.
Guys, it needs to be in focus.
We are working out the kinks with new camera and what looks in focus on camera is just a bit out of focus in post. Getting there!!!
FOCUS LOL!!!
Yeah new camera problems lol. But we are working to fix it for the next video.
@@bourbonkingdom I thought old age was catching up to me and finally needed glasses. Lol
Solid list!
It would be a challange for me to not make the whole list Buffalo Trace and Wild Turkey!
Cheers 🥃
Mid tier is $500 😂😂😂 I’m poor AF
Me too. I laughed when Zach said up to 500 I laughed myself.😅
I personally feel like mid-tier is $300-$600…. Low tier is $200ish or less… I feel like… $600-$1,000 for high tier. Unicorn tier over a G-note
Are we talking secondary or in general
