These guides are great. Thanks for putting them out. Would you have any recommendations for a speaker that could act as an amp for electric guitar, acoustic guitar, bass guitar and maybe vocals. Something versatile that would save me buying multiple amps/speakers but still get a good sound.
Thanks for the comment! 🙂 Do you need amp simulation built in? I think you would be best off with a separate mixer and speaker. Possibly using a Soundcraft UI12 (if you have power) as that has amp simulation built in! If you need to it to be on battery and dont need simulation than the Zoom or Behringer Flow combinations outlined here should do the trick! 🙂
Hey man. I am looking for a PA in my garage. Want to spend maximum 4000€. I think about 2 x rcf 985a / jbl srx 835p / yamaha dzr315. Or 2 tops and one subwoofer. I am looking for an absolute clear and amazing sound. They should go loud but i think that 125 db is more then enough for partys. It's all about the sound, I am a hifi enthusiast. Do you have any ideas? Greetz
If you want hi-fi-like sound quality, then I really can't rate the Yamaha DZR range highly enough! I think the DZR15 would be more than enough, but if you want something clear and amazing, I would get a pair of DZR10/12 and a DXS12/15 sub, depending on how low you want it to go! Having the sub-frequencies separated from the tops helps to gain clarity in the output. Keep in mind that this will be a MEGA PA system for a garage, though! Haha, is this for bands or just music? I hope that helps! I've got a video on the DZR10s which I use too, I run them as two tops and a RCF sub with up to 150 people and 2 subs up to 300 people as a frame of reference!
What would you buy? Is it the Showbox or one of my options? Or something else entirely? Let me know below!

@@GaryOnBass Thanks. I will take a closer look at these and the built in amp sim on the Soundcraft.
@km100uk its not the best amp sim but it will definitely sound better than going direct! 👍
