Let me salute your dedication for making such a wonderful model of an escapement that "never came into practical use." Your videos are wonderful complements to Gould's explanations! Could you do another constant-force escapement next, please? I am curious about Theurillat's version - there is a video of this escapement, which is not very clear, so seeing a model would be great.

The balance spring is attached to that moving armature, so every time it advances it adds a little energy to the spring.
