    Congrats for your first championship
The Estonia was my all time favourite series so far on SRS and the battle against you for the championship was very thrilling.
And dont worry, I think you absolutely deserve the championship title. I also got my first (and only) championship because the guys in first and second place didnt show up at the final race :)
Quick summary of the races from my perspective:
    Donington:
First race with the car for me and I thought: Meh, Soft tyres will do just fine. While waiting for the race start i saw everyone else are using mediums. But i thought: F*** it. They helped a lot to get right into the lead at the start and building a big gap to the rest of the field while they were busy fighting. But in the last 3-4 minutes those tyres suddenly gone real bad. And i had a lot of struggle keeping the car on the road. I was loosing about 3 seconds a lap. 1 more lap and i would have lost first place.
    Croft:
Never raced there before, so had to practice a lot for this. Got lucky Steen spun out and you got that penalty otherwise both of you would have beaten me on race pace.
    Ledenon:
Raced there only once before in the AE86, so i knew the only good overtaking spot was the last hairpin. But i knew i had to keep the preasure on to force you into a mistake otherwise its hard to overtake here. A fantastic race with a close field up front.
    Daytona:
Company send me to a business trip to France. And i thought: Well thats it.... But then i did the math and saw that even with the minimal points gained by just driving 3 laps it wouldnt be impossible to still get back on top by the last race if i continue my win series. But how do i get these points without being at home?
I was thinking about installing AC on my laptop and take it with me and try to get some laps done with keyboard controlls or my Steam controller but wasnt sure if i get the time to do it. I then asked my sister to help me out. She never did any sort of sim racing whatsoever. We met some days before the race and i gave her a crash course in how to drive the car and to learn the track (luckily it was Daytona, propably the easiest track to drive in the series). She ended up last but that was perfectly fine since she did a (nearly) clean race and got me just 5 points behind you which keep my Championship dream much alive.
Big thanks again to my sis for covering me
    Cadwell:
Both of us were falling behind quit hard at the start. I think our starts werent necessarly bad but Tims, Stuarts and Matjias were just perfectly on point this time. Didnt got any chance to get near you since i now had like 4 cars in front of me that i had to overtake first which was nearly impossible on this track. In the end it was a miracle i got back on P2.
    Portimao:
All or nothing. Well, only thing i could do now is winning and pray you get into and accident or get beaten by others. It was out of my hands by this point.
After all it sure bums me losing a championship with 4 wins out of 6 races. But thats how it is.
Glad you made this awesome recap of the season. I also recorded all the races and thought about doing sth. like that to.

Holy cow, thanks for the insight Lucas and yeah thanks for those awesome battles too, hopefully this wont be the last time we'll go head to head for a championship!
Yeah took me a while to put this together because I'm lazy like that lol, but I thought it was a fun story to run through so why not, I'd be down to see a more detailed run-down of your perspective if you do ever decide to put that together.
And yeah, I can imagine how it must've felt to of lost it due to something completely out of your control, it did feel almost as if I'd stolen it right from under you, but after finally winning at Daytona and seeing myself jump ahead in the standings I couldn't resist to at least try to hold onto the lead. Albeit I will say whilst very unlucky for yourself, I do think it made those final 2 races just that bit more exciting with the weight of the championship hanging over it 😉. Otherwise my errors in the first half meant I'd let you get out of reach where you had a pretty comfortable lead to play with.
Overall though, I think regardless of the outcome if felt awesome to be consistently battling for wins, week in week out and having someone insanely fast but also very respectful and clean to have those battles with made it all better 👍

If you can count how many times I accidentally left the mouse on the screen whilst recording footage for this you get uhhhh.... a virtual cookie (nothing)
