  • Brady Ellison sent a reminder to the recurve men’s field during this morning’s qualifying round at the Pan Am Championships, scoring 690 to beat two of last year’s world championship medallists - Eric Peters (Canada) and Brazilian world number one Marcus D’Almeida - to top seed in Medellin.
“We had really good conditions today. It’s nice to come down here and show I’ve got at least something left in the tank,” he said.
    Peters had 688 points and D’Almeida 682.
Mexico’s Matias Grande was the fourth to hit 680, on the nose.
“We’ve got a lot of the top five shooters in the world on this side in the Americas. Time and education and everything the Pan American delegations have been doing,” continued Ellison.
