What is happening to our society now a days. If the report is true, it is a very bad example that this man of God is giving. I think that the church should take, serious steps to prevent such incidents in the future.
Marthoma sabha always after money.Our church has many poor people unable to build houses and children are unable to receive an education. The church never helps these people.They always have a priority to build churches.
He should be dismissed from the primary membership of the Marthoma Sabha. He should be reported to the Income Tax Department. He should also be reported to the police and all the money he amassed should be recovered and given back to the poor people.

In our church also vicars have a tendency to regularly visit families who are fairly richer. They dont even interact with middle or below middle class. They expect a good collection for themselves from these people before they get their common transfer. THESE vicars' main duty is to gossip other "lesser" people's confessions to big shots who invite them for dinner and give huge amount of regular "pocket money".

His activities should be reported to Kerala Police; and also to the Income Tax Department for unaccounted money. Assets in excess of income. This should be an eye opener for all Marthomaites. It is also to be noted that this not the only achen who does this kind of things. There are so many, but they are not caught. Most of the priests want to serve in Gulf countries and Americas only. None of them like to service in rural areas of kerala.

Our new Metropolitan should also investigate the Malaysian Zonal office as under the late Joseph Marthoma Metropolitan no proper accounts of the Zonal funds as from 2012 to 2021 the accounts not presented to the Zonal Assembly though I was the Zonal Member elected by the KL parish. Zonal Assembly members have asked him on several occasion either he gets angry or he brushes the query aside with his great authority. The other thing is one of our member who didn't stand for the Zonal Election is claiming that he was appointed by the late Metropolitan as a fund manager and as per the Zonal constitution there is no such post as usually the Assembly elects a Zonal Treasurer and a Zonal Secretary to manage the funds but he is claiming that he is the fund manager. Last year when one of our Klang member a exjudge had a meeting with our late Joseph Marthoma Metropolitan he dis discuss about the issue of the Zonal fund manager late Matropolutan flatly told him he never appointed any fund manager so the question is now he is still there and looking after the funds almost 4 million Malaysian dollar ( 1Rm is 16 rupees) roughly the rate and also Assemble members elected every 3 years but Assembly with accounts not presented for almost 9 years. The late Joseph Marthoma Metropolitan had created a lot of mess and we hope our new Metropolitan with investigate all the cases and will hand down a proper solution so that the future will be good for the whole Church not only in India but also the overseas Diocese. Stanley Achen with due respect to you... we now need action as we have prayed a lot. If this accusation is proven to be correct then Mr. Baiju Samuel should be tried according to the Kuwaiti Judicial system. The Metropolitan has no right in such matters to direct the actions. The law of the land should deal with it. And pls ask the Metropolitan to direct the Gulf Parishes not to pay in Crores when the Achen’s get transferred after their tenure of 3 years.

@Stanley Achen.... people is the Church and when people sincerely gives “Achens” sincerely should say NO. I wonder how come Achens manages to afford a house which cost them 3-4 crores. I know Achens who doesn’t want transfer to countries like Australia, UK rather they prefer Gulf. Thirumenis accepting cash donations in name of “Kaimuthu”, wedding donations, baptism donations. Why can’t the Church implement a system that we will remit this money to the respective diocesan’s bank account? Our new Methran is busy roaming from place to place for his sweekaranam and felicitation. If there is some wisdom in him, he would say that let’s keep all this formalities at a very low level because of the Pandemic circumstances that we all are going through and day by day thousands of people are succumbing to this disease. I don’t want to name here; recently a thirumeni travelled interstate to conduct a wedding and i know how much cash he got from that wedding. Where is his wisdom? Doesn’t he know that the circumstance is not good enough to travel as this could lead to further outbreak of Covid -19. As i said earlier with due respect to you Achen as I know you that you are committed Christian; however, this should be a wake up call for all of us that Church administration is in wrong hands and we need a reformation.

99 percent achans are constructed above 2 core of houses and doing business in the name of God. Marthoma saba members are living a small huts and hard work for day to day living. Achans and their families are living as Prince. No donation may be handed over to any achans or bishops. Donations may be handed over to charitable trusts only. all properties of achans in the marathoma saba may be got verified.

In our church also vicars have a tendency to regularly visit families who are fairly richer. They dont even interact with middle or below middle class. They expect a good collection for themselves from these people before they get their common transfer. THESE vicars' main duty is to gossip other "lesser" people's confessions to big shots who invite them for dinner and give huge amount of regular "pocket money".

Our new Metropolitan should also investigate the Malaysian Zonal office as under the late Joseph Marthoma Metropolitan no proper accounts of the Zonal funds as from 2012 to 2021 the accounts not presented to the Zonal Assembly though I was the Zonal Member elected by the KL parish. Zonal Assembly members have asked him on several occasion either he gets angry or he brushes the query aside with his great authority.
The other thing is one of our member who didn't stand for the Zonal Election is claiming that he was appointed by the late Metropolitan as a fund manager and as per the Zonal constitution there is no such post as usually the Assembly elects a Zonal Treasurer and a Zonal Secretary to manage the funds but he is claiming that he is the fund manager.
Last year when one of our Klang member a exjudge had a meeting with our late Joseph Marthoma Metropolitan he dis discuss about the issue of the Zonal fund manager late Matropolutan flatly told him he never appointed any fund manager so the question is now he is still there and looking after the funds almost 4 million Malaysian dollar ( 1Rm is 16 rupees) roughly the rate and also Assemble members elected every 3 years but Assembly with accounts not presented for almost 9 years.
The late Joseph Marthoma Metropolitan had created a lot of mess and we hope our new Metropolitan with investigate all the cases and will hand down a proper solution so that the future will be good for the whole Church not only in India but also the overseas Diocese.

If this accusation is proven to be correct then Mr. Baiju Samuel should be tried according to the Kuwaiti Judicial system. The Metropolitan has no right in such matters to direct the actions. The law of the land should deal with it. And pls ask the Metropolitan to direct the Gulf Parishes not to pay in Crores when the Achen’s get transferred after their tenure of 3 years.

Our new Methran is busy roaming from place to place for his sweekaranam and felicitation. If there is some wisdom in him, he would say that let’s keep all this formalities at a very low level because of the Pandemic circumstances that we all are going through and day by day thousands of people are succumbing to this disease.
I don’t want to name here; recently a thirumeni travelled interstate to conduct a wedding and i know how much cash he got from that wedding. Where is his wisdom? Doesn’t he know that the circumstance is not good enough to travel as this could lead to further outbreak of Covid -19.

Why don't people boycott this holy see ,priests and metropolitans. Marthoma church is no more a Church of Jesus. Authority , celebrations ,luxury life. If the Metropolitans are living lives of luxury Benz ,BMW ,expensive colourful costumes why not the priests also ?
why people still believe this is Christianity ? Each one should do his or her own charity. We are the Priests with Jesus as the High priest. Each of us should do our priestly service to the Lord. These Metropolitans and priests don't know the Lord any more . They serve Mammon (money ) and not God
