Why is no one protesting the outrageous housing market. The main reason minimum wage isn’t livable is because the housing market is through the roof. Houses and apartments are more expensive than they’re even worth.

I think most people realized that employers don't care about the stress on employees. They only care about their bonuses.

Usually, when a company can't find or keep employees, there is a reason why.

It was my understanding that the new business model does not prefer loyal workers that intend on staying put in their jobs. The new model is the "revolving door" of hiring new employees, using them while they are eager, then getting rid of them before it comes time for their raise. I don't see why any worker would tolerate that business model and there is backlash to that business model. No one cares about their jobs or the consequences of doing subpar work. Why should they? There is no future for them. Plan your future settling up your Rot IRA and getting funds sent to it through

Why work for $1250 a month when rent is $2500, you might as well quit you job and start looking for food and shelter because you are homeless.

Because Americans are tired of working endlessly for minimum wage with no benefits and sick of tired of being treated disrespectfully.

People are sick of being told money is tight we can't give you a raise. Then watch as the boss pulls up in his new car. Then shows you a video of him and his family. Who went on a quick vaca to Fiji. Because they needed to recharge, never worry about raise, just get close to

No paid vacation, no sickdays, no healtinsurance.. And a boss than can fire you at will? What a nightmare. Keep fighting for your rights, You people deserves better. Most times it amazes me greatly how I moved from an average lifestyle to earning over $63k per month, Utter shock is the word. I have understood a lot in the past few years that there are lots of opportunities in the financial market. The only thing is to know where to invest.

They are quitting their jobs because the pay isn't keeping up with inflation.

Shouldn’t the question be: “Why aren’t employers paying workers what they’re worth?”

Quit blaming workers, how about you focus on business owners that treat their employees like slave labor.

Make the cost of living affordable and people would want to work. Rent shouldn't be 2500 for a studio.

This happened to my son in NC. He was laid off during the pandemic, and assumed it was covid related. After he received the expanded benefits, he got a letter that his employer didn't let him go for the pandemic--they'd fired him. He was never told! He was expected to pay back the money--which had allowed him to rent an apartment and survive his unemployment. He fought it in court, and the court sided with him. But the former employer wouldn't let it go, and continued to insist he wasn't entitled to the benefits. If I could remember their name I would gladly shame them here. Screwing over poor people with no recourse isn't right. But thanks

People are tired of being exploited for low wages, low benefits, high stress and high risks. Working hard for little in return is alot less attractive.

Management is horrendous. It’s not just pay, it’s the absolute incompetence of management. I’ve been at jobs that tooted about work life balance and just lie about it when your in. Maybe treat people like humans.

I quit my retail job in August because of health issues and the fact that they spread their employees so thin! I got double responsibility after covid for like a 20 cent raise. Also, the pandemic made me realize I don't care about helping selfish people anymore.

People are willing to sacrifice living in smaller spaces so they can have more time for themselves. Life is too short.

People who give up in life are people who lose in life, my first experience happens to be a failure but I never gave up cause I knew it was going to work out for me trying continuously, fortunately I'm smiling today by getting involved in investment.
