This movie is so underrated. I'm actually surprised it's not on Netflix or Blu Ray. As a matter of fact, I imagine David Cross and Paul Giamatti in a movie together, maybe.
I was in girl scouts and one of the trips we did was to Universal Studios Hollywood and when Frankie and Amanda are on the tour bus as well as s at the end being a part of the tour brings back memories
Am I the only one who thought the ending was a little too mean-spirited? Don't get me wrong, the antagonist of the movie was a complete idiot for not taking the chance for his life to return to normal when he had the chance, but at the same time, for everyone to turn against and attack him, for him to lose everything and have such a terrible ending, I still couldn't help but feel sorry for him.
@@bphussar It's too bad there's lots of movies where the female antagonist doesn't get her comeuppance. For example, look at how awful the woman was in the main male character in the movie Saving Silverman. If there's going to be romantic comedies where the woman whose a jerk gets a happy ending, then we may as well get ones where the dude whose a jerk also gets one too, while we're at it. As for that movie 40 Days 40 Nights starring Josh Hartnett, that was one of the dumbest movies in human existence.
That’s genius writing, many of the greatest shows and movies make us feel for the villain… if the director can get that, then it’s usually encapsulating for the audience

Paul giamatti is so calm and nice in real life compared to the movie he plays in. I remember as a kid I thought he was mean lol

That’s called Karma. If you watched the movie, he was a horrible person to everyone… Everything he got was deserved.
