Sound test tip: Do not play any kind of music in the background (actually at any level, this was above background level), people want to hear the sounds specifically during sound tests.
I bought some of the yellow jades because of your review! was a little worried about them being scratchy, but when installed on a board (and not a switch tester) there is not virtually no scratchiness or spring ping. thank you for sharing this review!!
I have honey peaches on mine and they're lubed, and it feels like i am typing on marbles except that they're quiet! When I tap on my stock ABS keycaps, they sound like glass for some reason, while before this, with the rk sky cyan switches, they sounded hollow. It's an odd observation for me, but a welcomed one!
I've not used the Jade series of switches. Some quick research online says they are a continuation of the Cream series with a more transparent milky housing. Maybe for better RGB glow? I can't find anything about the materials but I'm guessing they are nylon top and bottom housings just like the cream series? The graphs I've seen between the Jade Yellow and Cream Yellow look identical. The Cream v1 and v2 switches are identical as well from everything I've seen and tested. They just changed the bottom housing color to white but the mold and material looks the same and they sound identical. Starting to feel like Outemu has basically the same switches called 3 different things lol. Also, not sure why but at least the Cream Yellows sound considerably louder than what I hear from mine. I honestly can't hear anything from the switch itself and the only way I really get noise is if I really smack the keys hard which produces a "thud". If you want to try something interesting open them up and remove the 2 silicone dampeners in the rails. They won't be silent anymore but from my experience they have a very deep sound that people like. Pretty cool versatile switch where you can mod it to produce 2 different behaviors and they can be bought SO cheap.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts with this detail :) I also noticed that Jade Yellow and Cream Yellow had almost the same spec, but in reality, the sound is a bit different. Jade Yellow is a bit lower. That's what I felt. I think I have to open them and check the spring or any other factor that makes a difference. And about the sound, I tried to type in various speeds and strengths in the video as I also couldn't get the difference that vividly. So that would be why it sounds different from yours in some points. About removing the silicone dampeners, I would like to try that once :) Thank you for the suggestion!
i really like the deeper sound of the yellow jade. but being the silent one that it is, i doubt that i will even hear the difference. but do you see any difference in the RGB shinethrough for the cream yellow v2 vs the yellow jade? as it seems that the transparent housing is the major difference between the two.
@@fingertip.keyboard ey, thanks for that, man! validated my thought that either of the 3 versions will be okay for me, since i don't have super hearing, but i do want it silent. cheers!
Thank you for the video! I liked the way you filmed it :). I had a question though! Between the jade yellow and cream yellow, which would you recommend? Is there a difference in how the two feel and which is quieter? Thank you again!
Thank you for your gentle and warm comments :) I would prefer the Jade Yellow as I like the lower pitch. The feelings and the volumes are almost the same, though!
Hello, I enjoyed the video. I'm using the Outemu Lime Switch now. What is the difference from the Jade yellow Switch?? I'm very satisfied with the rime, but I want a more fun texture Thanks.
@@fingertip.keyboard I tend to make a lot of mistakes/misses when typing on a keyboard. With that in mind, is it better to 'feel the spring' to avoid that?
Loved the jade yellow sound but i already ordered silent peach v2, do you think it is worth buying jade yellow also? I'll build another silent board in the future, any alternatives to consider?
i have outemu cream yellow as my main switches right now, do you think the pro version is a minor upgraded from the original version? does the the tactilty feel same or better on a pro version?

35% of the video is with out music
@@xris_1130 that 35% has only one of the switches being tested... literally defeats the point of a comparison video...
Man thank for the background music test it was so helpful hearing all those notes

Thank you for coming back for leaving the comment! I am happy that you are satisfied with the switches 😄😄
Ordered the Outemu Silent Cream Yellows too! They will arrive in one week or maybe a little bit more! Can't wait to try them
which one is the most silent? Do you have even quieter switch reccommendations? Need some for the library. Thx
It is so hard to find the sound difference between silent switches 😅

Thank you for this! I was about to order the jades but I think the cream yellows have a more pleasant sound, even if it's not as deep.

Is it the clear versions you have?

I don't think they show that vivid differences 🤔

They all sound somewhat scratchy. Has anyone checked if lubing these made them any less scratchy?

@@fingertip.keyboardI see! Thank you for your response and I look forward to your future videos!! :D
how tall is the board? I have ordered these switches and have preferred keycaps, need a low height board! Thanks.
Is there interference with the jade yellows when you use them with cherry keycaps?
I don't think so :)
Hello, I enjoyed the video.

You don't feel the spring as much as Lime switches. I think that would be the biggest difference!

Cream yellow or Jade yellow for typing feels and more bump?
They are so similar but the sound of the Jade Yellow is slightly lower! They almost only have this as a difference.
I ordered the cream yellows and then, frustrated by the delivery time, ended up ordering jade yellows as well. I prefer the jades, FWIW.
I swapped out my silent honey peaches (hated the feel) and replaced them with the cream yellow which feel and sound so much better
Loved the jade yellow sound but i already ordered silent peach v2, do you think it is worth buying jade yellow also? I'll build another silent board in the future, any alternatives to consider?
hello, how is your silent peach v2? I'm not so happy with mine, the typing experience is not so good. It feel very squishy
in terms of tactility, how does the outemu jade yellow compare to a non'-silent tactile switch? the bump in at the top or is it in the middle?
I have them and the bump is on top
which is the least mushy?
I can't put my finger on the best one what do you think
I would say the cream yellow
Hey which is best switch for both gaming and coading. ..
Really depends on what you want from the switches...
What is the name of this song? I love it
MEOD - Beach Crush :)
Mine came with a good amount of ping :(
it is strange. I have lime and they are more quiet than in video
He used an expensive micro to record that
The Outemu peaches almost sound sloshy 😂
Glad that you liked the sound :)

Hard to tell as I haven't had a chance to compare them...
where’d you buy your keyboard?
which keyboard are you interested?
Рояль в тесте звука. Феноменально. А что за треск? Похоже на камин.
have links to the switches?
I found them in Aliexpress :)
