- Wilson was giving a demonstration of how Wilson footballs are made at the NFL Store in NYC during NFL Draft Media Day. Wilson only does this outside of their factory at the Super Bowl so this was a rare treat. Questions were asked by Dr. Bill Chackes of FootballReportersOnline.com
I had no idea the process! Great video, I could stay there all day!
This is a VERY informative piece. I like that you videod the whole process. You also asked the same question I would have almost as I was saying them to myself! Thank you!
thats cool how they (wilson) shows how they make their balls. i love these videos. thank you for the upload. bought my ball at sports chalet when it was in business $89 usd
Made in America: Fantastic!!!
u have the best last name in the universe man, love it! No funny sheez.
Amazing.
Good to see they hire American workers and keep them for a long time
Too Bad the ones they sell don't come out as nice as the ones they make here or on the field. The stitching is always crooked.
Its because its real leather not composite I have a gst gameball but its kind of slippery and hard but durable as hell
It's because the factory pays well.
Wish the comments at the end, re: inflation, were clearer...
great
Anybody have an idea how I can get a bladder for my "duke"? It only lasted six months before going flat
If you ship it to Ada Ohio they will put a new bladder and new laces on the ball and send it back inflated.
Why they put those laces on them, can't they make them without it, just like any other balls are made?
All balls have stitching on them, it's just that american footballs have more prominent stitches.
the laces are for throwing.
David, How are you? Do you have an email I could reach you at? Thanks, Paulo
I hope I’m not too late to reply! 😂😂😂Lol. Davejetsfan@gmail.com.
Its nice to own the real deal but why are they so expensive
Warren Buggles Cause it is made by hand.

I have an authentic F1100 game ball. I got it retail so it doesn't have a team name printed on it. they said that the retail balls are exactly the same as and have the same specifications as the actual balls on the field, right? do you think team balls are cheaper because they buy them in bulk?
No. Balls that are sold to general people are the F100's. The ones that are sent to the teams are the F1010's. They have to go through much more specific regulations to meet a higher standard. Both made in the same way, but the F1010 cannot be sold to the public unless you get a second hand one off of eBay. And yes, they will be cheaper.
You're exactly right
Still not worth $100
Yeah, $100 retail price is ridiculous. That's why I'm happy I got one for only $44 on Amazon yesterday
Very true.
