Honestly, I always wondered how pureblood witches and wizards learned subjects like math and reading/writing if they never had any kind of contact with the muggle world. Not having contact with muggle subjects means that students like Draco and Neville wouldn't be able to read, write, or do basic math (which are necessary skills even in the wizarding world).
Hogwarts does have muggle subjects. Muggle Studies, Muggle Music and Muggle Art. I think there is a MovieFlame video about all the classes taught at Hogwarts if you wanna confirm.

Not much is known about them but thought they are worth being mentioned.

Wow Angus had cruel parents but he was blessed with such great Siblings. All of them not only accepted Angus but actually protected his Squib Status from everyone to the point Angus's sister forged a Hogwarts letter, while his brother Hamish literally flew him to Hogwarts, not caring for the consequences should thry be caught. Instead of isolating themselves from him they did everything in their power to give Angus the life of a Wizard. Even when they failed and had their brother disowned and thrown to the streets while they were at Hogwarts, they stuck with their brother and found him on their own disowning their cruel Wizard father instead of their kind and gentle Squib brother. Despite all being witches and wizards they went into the muggleworld to cheer on their Brother with Pride. Thats just pure love for family right there.
What if I told you that Filch is not a squib? I recently reread Prisoner of Azkaban and was blown away by a throw away line. When the portrait of the Fat Lady was damaged, they put the responsibility of restoring the painting onto Argus Filch. My thoughts are that he is a high functioning savant. He can't do regular every day magic, but he can do what would ordinarily take a team of experts to do. Filch repairs the painting of the Fat Lady and no one even blinks an eye. She's simply hung back up as good as new, and it was Filch who somehow managed to do what should have been impossible for him.

Students laugh at them and then Filch walks up and escorts them out but tells them it’s okay and that they aren’t alone. Squibs were frowned upon for being born to Magic families yet not having any magic abilities, while Muggleborns were frowned upon for having magic abilities yet having Muggle parents. If a squib and a Muggleborn were put into a small room together they would tell each other about their struggles and wish that they had the other's parents. Now that sounds like an interesting story for the Wizarding World. Two childhood friends or neighbours or strangers who meet in Daigon Alley, where one was born to a Magic family but didn't inherit their magic abilities and the other can perform magic but was born to Muggle parents, and the daily struggles both go through to hide their situations from their respective parents (can be about 2 boys, 2 girls, or 1 boy and 1 girl) out of fear of being neglected, disowned, or looked down on. Which leads to them making a pact that if both are cast out of their family homes, they would run away together and find somewhere that would accept both of them. It can go from their early childhood to around the time they turn 11 or when it's time for the one from the Magic family to receive their Hogwarts letter, only for the twist to occur.

I know I suggested making a "life of" video for Avatar Aang, but I was also thinking that Moaning Myrtle and Voldemort's snake, Nagini have very interesting stories too. After all, the snake has an interesting backstory since she used to be human, and Myrtle's life and afterlife were both so dreadful, it's intriguing.

I hope the Wizarding World gave Angus' father a life sentence in Azkaban for disowning and treating his own son like trash. All because his Angus was born with no magic. Also, I hope he's sharing a cell with both Dolores Umbrige and Fenir Grayback.
I wonder if these Squibs who integrated into the muggle world would then have descendants who would be "muggle born" wizards. They pass on the magic traits and eventually they work again.

As an American; the legendary figure of Martha Steward is one of the most remarkable "sqibs" in history; and her work with her magical sister Rionach, in helping the refugees of the Salem Era, which although her presence was greatly missed by her family; her role in secret can not be overstated; it was her work that would inspire many no-maj men and women during the revolution; and without her; Both worlds would be a much darker place. Her and Angus prove; that magic is not limited to the acts that we can perform with our wands, but also with our minds, hearts, our determination, and imagination!
I'm amazed how all HP lore, even fan fiction, maintains the theme of Parental bonds shaped so many characters. Angus brothers and sisters could have easily been followers of Grindelwald or Voldermort.
Where is this story found? I am on my umpteenth reading of the series (on Book 7) and don't remember it. That said, one of the things I love most about HP is its emphasis on family. Also, the fact that so many people fought hard to overcome their difficult backgrounds! How different from today's world where so many people are perpetual, whiny "victims", even if they never actually WERE a victim of anything in their lives.

There are so many reasons being a squib would suck but imagine going from a world where just about every task can be solved with a wave of a wand, where the careers are working with mythical creatures, quidditch player, potions making and then having to go do manual labour, work in an office and actually have to write things out yourself, pay taxes freaking use public transport like the switch from that would just be 😭
There anime about a magicless character, it's called "Wistoria: wand and sword". the story is very good. I believe it was inspired by Harry Potter because some of the characters you may find are similar.
So I have a question, that is actually very unrelated to this video, but I don't know if you've addressed it before. One of the most important points of the Harry Potter series is that Lily died to protect her son, giving him the love protection that saved his life and caused Voldemort's curse to rebound onto him. I also know you have said that when Harry chose to die, he gives that same protection to everyone in Hogwarts he was dying for. So my question is, why didn't James, who stood blocking Voldemorts way - dying to try to protect his wife and son, save Lily and therefore also Harry?
Good question! I believe it’s because he actively tried to fight Voldemort “holding him off” through physical means, you don’t technically need a wand. Meanwhile lily did not try to fight, she just threw herself in between. Same with harry who did not fight when Voldemort killed him
Honestly it would be very interesting to see a novel from a squibs perspective, imaging going from a modern world with Virtual reality and Iphone to basically a medieval fantasy world. It would be interesting to see the mc try to get along with other students, if the school allowed him or her to taking classes.
His father had no real reason to disown Angus. I mean it was clear that even at an early age he was capable of holding his own against wizards without any magical abilities himself. That's insanely badass. Angus turned a disadvantage into an advantage.

I know I suggested making a "life of" video for Avatar Aang, but I was also thinking that Moaning Myrtle and Voldemort's snake, Nagini have very interesting stories too. After all, the snake has an interesting backstory since she used to be human, and Myrtle's life and afterlife were both so dreadful, it's intriguing.

Funny. I was in the process of a story where one of the protagonists was a squib who was best friends with a slytherin half blood girl but their different approaches makes their friendship difficult
I really hate J.K. Rowling's obsession with turning real people into magical. Angus Buchanan is a real person and it's disgusting to attempt to assume that he had such a horrific family. we do not know about his family, and lets not assume.

I find it rather tickling that the AI concotion for Angus's foster father bears an uncanny resemblance to Mel Gibson. "It's alright son...we are very accepting of everyone and anyone....well actually - you might hear some rumours but definitely not involving squibs".
I hope the Wizarding World gave Angus' father a life sentence in Azkaban for disowning and treating his own son like trash. All because his Angus was born with no magic. Also, I hope he's sharing a cell with both Dolores Umbrige and Fenir Grayback.
I wonder if these Squibs who integrated into the muggle world would then have descendants who would be "muggle born" wizards. They pass on the magic traits and eventually they work again.

I'm amazed how all HP lore, even fan fiction, maintains the theme of Parental bonds shaped so many characters. Angus brothers and sisters could have easily been followers of Grindelwald or Voldermort.

Where is this story found? I am on my umpteenth reading of the series (on Book 7) and don't remember it.
That said, one of the things I love most about HP is its emphasis on family. Also, the fact that so many people fought hard to overcome their difficult backgrounds! How different from today's world where so many people are perpetual, whiny "victims", even if they never actually WERE a victim of anything in their lives.

There are so many reasons being a squib would suck but imagine going from a world where just about every task can be solved with a wave of a wand, where the careers are working with mythical creatures, quidditch player, potions making and then having to go do manual labour, work in an office and actually have to write things out yourself, pay taxes freaking use public transport like the switch from that would just be 😭

There anime about a magicless character, it's called "Wistoria: wand and sword". the story is very good. I believe it was inspired by Harry Potter because some of the characters you may find are similar.
So I have a question, that is actually very unrelated to this video, but I don't know if you've addressed it before. One of the most important points of the Harry Potter series is that Lily died to protect her son, giving him the love protection that saved his life and caused Voldemort's curse to rebound onto him. I also know you have said that when Harry chose to die, he gives that same protection to everyone in Hogwarts he was dying for.
So my question is, why didn't James, who stood blocking Voldemorts way - dying to try to protect his wife and son, save Lily and therefore also Harry?
Good question! I believe it’s because he actively tried to fight Voldemort “holding him off” through physical means, you don’t technically need a wand. Meanwhile lily did not try to fight, she just threw herself in between. Same with harry who did not fight when Voldemort killed him

Honestly it would be very interesting to see a novel from a squibs perspective, imaging going from a modern world with Virtual reality and Iphone to basically a medieval fantasy world.
It would be interesting to see the mc try to get along with other students, if the school allowed him or her to taking classes.

His father had no real reason to disown Angus. I mean it was clear that even at an early age he was capable of holding his own against wizards without any magical abilities himself. That's insanely badass. Angus turned a disadvantage into an advantage.
