Still using the d'avella since you first reviewed it, have tried a couple of others but always come back, I prefer the original to these, never had issues with cards falling out.

Like ‘em…especially the Dalton. Tip, put your cash with the fold to the top…less cash thickness for the stitched end, wider fold in the flap radius. Only thing I’d do different is put that radius cut in both pieces of leather - you still have to thumb dive between cards and leather back to grab the card stack.
I put the fold at the bottom. It goes in easier as opposed to the ends of the cash folding over as you insert it.

Love my speakeasy wallets top notch gear not so great with Canadian bills though.
Have you tried Canadian bills in the D'Avella? Do they stick out when folded in half? They're only a few mm taller than US notes, but I'm worried they're not going to fit nicely. Possibly the same issue with The Dalton. Would be a shame as I really want to order both of those wallets.

Both are great. But I prefer the Dalton just slightly over the D’Avella. But over both of them I like the Dillinger the most. I ranked it the best wallet of last year
