I don't know which part of this contribution is more interesting. The technical knowledge he shares or the beauty of his pictures.
And I learned a new one - the Dutch Angle - according to Google - a camera technique used by the German Expressionists in the 1920 - ironically called Dutch. Thank you!

Best tips ever given. I like how you explained your compositions in details. I found 35mm focal length very challenging to shoot portraits. But your works inspire me to shoot more 35mm and be more intentional about compositions.

Hey man just found your channel and it's been a lifesaver with understanding how to work with models. I had a question though: how do you guide them on outfit choices? Do they get this from the mood board and bring their own outfits, do you give general ideas, etc? I have a friend who is going to try and help me and asked what she should wear, which got me thinking. Great channel, hope to see more and more.

I bought my first prime lens a 23mm (35mm equivalent) for my camera, just to imitate the feel of fuji x100v.. I also plan to master this focal length before I bought another lens..
My only concern for this lens is the Portrait shot, thanks for this video I have now a starting point to practice.

Absolutely great! Stunning photos! I am trying to decide which prime to buy to substitute my current zoom lens for my Fujifilm XT-4. I want a lens for everything from landscapes (which is my focus) to street and portraits. Seeing this makes me lean towards a 23mm (35 mm equivalent). Thank you for the inspiration! :)

Wow, I'm so glad I found your channel. So informative and your photography work is stunning.... I would love to create photos like you do. I bought a SIGMA 16mm a month ago in the intent of breaking away from my Canon M50 kit lens for vlogs and also taking pictures...... and I know in your previous video you recommended spending a great deal of time with your lens.... however, I would love to experiment more with photography and I keep wondering if I should purchase 35mm as well or the 50mm. (Obviously, you love the 35mm, but I was wondering if it's wise for me to buy another wide lens 😅) I'm still new to photography... if you ever have time... I would love your opinion for a beginner in photography who already has a 16mm but wants to venture out one more time to get a new lens in the future.

Study the work of photographers you admire. Take a look at their compositions and try to break it down for yourself, you may start to find patterns.
