We have this (base model) now at my new location, but I was spoiled by having a top tier ClearTouch (built-ins, mobile adjustable stand, etc) at my old location. In SC, what you have depends on where you are.
Both are excellent interactive screens. The biggest differences are in the software. Viewsonic does offer some great features like myViewBoard cloud and built-in casting, but Promethean also has a very robust software suite. With both manufacturers there are no annual software costs.
