    If China isn't buying our wheat then why isn't the price of bread going down in the US? There should be a surplus of wheat after all. It's seems "supply and demand" economics isn't working correctly. 🤔

      funny thing is... China doesn't care. Second largest producer of wheat after the USA is Russia. China is just buying it from Russia. Our politicians pushed China's money out of the USA, for the betterment of consumers (of course), and pushed it right to Russia.
      All because the big 3 lobbied the government, again, for the betterment of the consumer.

    Those teardrop trailers are selling for a totally different reason now! I've met more than a dozen people in the past 2 years buying those things for the purpose of full time living since the cost of housing is no longer affordable in many areas and the payments are much cheaper than rent where I live.

    A good canvas tent is still so expensive. Something about camping is keeping the market stuffed. I paid 100$ for some Chinese tent. Piece of crap, and that's a weeks shopping.
    Easy 4 grand NZD for a decent canvas family tent.
    Everything should be getting cheaper, and inflation is just a flash word for greed.

    RV'S nowadays are junk. The prices are so inflated. The same 16 foot trailer 3 years ago was around $13,000. Now it's $26,000! Double the price with less than half the quality!

    Gas prices raising instead of falling doesn't seem like a failure of capitalism. Seems like when you make laws that say "You can't charge x amount lower than other gas stations", is what keeps prices high.

    Gas prices will always go up unfortunately, I remember when I was young gas being $1.25 per gallon. It's a nonrenewable resource, and your right they will charge whatever they want just because they can. Gas has been hovering around $3.30 to $3.70 a gallon here for now. Once it gets to $5 per gallon I doubt we will see as many trucks and SUVs on the road if people be smart.

    china buys US agriculture products only because they have trade surplus dollars, but there is nothing else to buy. US government decided not to sell chips. there are cheaper wheat from south America etc.

There are not many products to buy from US, except semiconductors which US governments don’t want to sell. But US is addicted to Chinese products, without them, inflation will be 2x higher than current levels

    Yes I remember the same thing crossing from Boron California where the price of regular was $6.99 a gallon that year. Then it was half that much when I crossed into Primm Nevada the first city in Nevada from California! It was highway robbery!!

    Before I would spend money on a tear-drop trailer, I would buy a 5'X8' cargo trailer with a side door option. They cost $4000+ depending on the brand and materials. Save $20,000.

    If they don’t raise gas prices, they could run low on supplies. In theory. But people will take spring and summer vacations and the price of gas won’t stop them. (And they’ll still burn 50 cents worth of gas to drive across town and save 40 cents on a tankful).

      The principal difference in reality is Europeans drive better, more fuel efficient cars.

    Had a brand new 34' rv trailer was $34k and the welds on frame broke with about 3000 miles on it. They wanted me to get it to a repair shop 200 miles from my house.i bought it 50 miles from my house. I left it to sit in shop parking lot till they came with a tow.never seen the thing again

    I don’t eat grains except for some oats on occasion. I dropped 20 lbs in 2 months not eating bread and flour products. Everytime they take something away I learn to live without and adapt. As an American I’ve been spoiled my whole life. Ppl have got by on much less and thrived. So can we. Come on USA!

      Guaranteed to put on weight if that is what you want, just eat five breads or grain servings per day. But watch out, doing this will change your metabolism and will be difficult to loose weight again or, be thin ever again.

    I'm watching this on my 12 year old MacBook Pro that I bought for $400 6 years ago. I use it as my primary computer all day long..No problems, still going strong. I only buy used Apple products. My iPhone was FREE, from a friend who upgraded 5 years ago. I did replace the battery for $100. I love Apple products because they last and last.

    I'd LOVE to have an old VW bus. First thing I'd do is gut the drivetrain & convert it over to a mid-engine 2wd - Most likely swap candidate being a 2.3 Lima, though I wouldn't turn my nose up at an Iron Duke. Blue Oval iron is just the easier, more prolific find, is all.

    This is why trade wars are stupid. Everyone loses. They will charge just enough for gasoline so you wont stop driving because of the price. When the demand goes up so does the price. This is why electric cars are such a good idea, the substitute for gasoline will flatten the demand curve and lower the price for gasoline.

      @@pmscalisilol except that electricity costs have been dropping since they discovered it. It's because generation has a never ending downward curving average total cost curve. Nothing funnier than the ideas people with no understanding of economics come up with. 😂

      @@YoureNotThatGuyPal- I'm the last 5 years my electricity cost went from $.098/kWh to $.102/kWh. That's about a 4% increase in 5 years which means it went up less than inflation. So I'm paying less for electricity comparatively than I was 5 years ago. 😂🤡. Enjoy paying for gasoline.

    Today, most Canadians awoke to a 12 cent a litre (54 cent a metric gallon) increase in the price of gas. Seems it costs refiners more to produce summer gas than it does winter gas. 😢

    in the 50's and 60's people got popular mechanics mag. and built there own tear drop trailer for just a few bucks ply wood and paint and a axle and wheels / or a row boat and go cart a bunch of e/z build it your self things to save a lot of money and have fun building it your self

    I see gas stations raising their prices, on gas that has not arrived yet . They are charging higher prices for the gas they paid less for . So gas stations are doing the same thing as the oil companies .

      ​ corporations were not forced into anything . It's corporate greed that resulted in their decision to move manufacturing to China as well as planned obsolescence .

      Agreed. I nowadays check where something is made before I check the price and buy. If I see Made in China. I put it down and find (preferably made in USA) but I will settle for Made in Taiwan or Vietnam. Just not China. I'm done supporting China's economy. If we all stop buying made in China products, they will crash.

    when I was a kid a friend down the street parent bought a pop up trailer camper [a tent on a trailer] because it was 20th of an Airstream 5th of the price of a regular travel trailer I remember his father eventfully buying an Airstream a n complaining it was $5000 that 1960's model now would be $15000 now an new $67K now new starting just look it up I look at a camper as a yard monument it sit next my boat I use 3-4 times a year

    I recently drove from CA to AZ. CA gas was 5 a gallon. AZ was 3.39 a gallon.

    They actually did that to lower the price of beef in the United States. Beef has been an all-time high😊 And their idea is for them to be able to monitor one of the only true markets that it’s not been touched by the American overreaching companies

    I’m sure you have mentioned it and I missed it but I have a 91 Chevy 1509 what are the pros and cons of running duel straight pipes . I hear mixed reactions oh you’ll lose power or fuel mileage then I hear the opposite what’s the true skinny on this
