One thing that scares the daylights out of me and it will happen over and over again . The scenario of finding ones self on St Mary`s station at all hours in the middle of the night with luggage and possibly financial means and no security available. Heck, driverless trains with no security running to and from the new airport, Cameras don`t do much. Transport areas of Mount Druitt and Blacktown are a prime example of that just to mention two main stopping areas.
I expect there will be security and certainly more surveillance than on Sydney Trains; but funny how some people think the western suburbs are so dangerous. Look at the actual Police stats, and places like Blacktown have well less than half the rate of relevant offences (like non-domestic assault) compared with the inner city area of Sydney. On that basis people should be far more scared of using the existing airport train or spending time at harbourside venues. Then again, I don't mind people from the east or northern suburbs feeling anxious though - helps keep the snobby riff-raff out. The big risk of metros is how they might lead to tawdry gentrification of areas.
Thanks for the update
No problem 👍
I can hardly wait until the builds are built and the tracks are laid.
Yes it's heading along at a fast pace. Hope you enjoyed the update. I'll keep them coming

Hopefully, they will have people onboard like they do the Northwest metro
