@Deniselee28 without ego? no. Without emotions? Yes. But the key is to channel your emotions in an efficient manner & not become a slave to them.
I just wanna share my thoughts on the part of "being yourself" and not tryna be like someone else. For me, it was easier said than done. There was a point i did not know who i was and when people didnt pay attention to me, that's when i knew i had to stop fronting and do me in order to stand out than to fit in with everyone else. So now im finally accepting who i am and not worrying about what others think.
Thanks for sharing that Matthew. I definitely agree it's easier said then done, particularly when you have been acting like someone else for so long. I appreciate your support and sharing how you were able to become more yourself. btw we have the same name matthew
Did it work?
Congrats on that! Its not an easy task to be cool with just being you in every situation
@Con Power Great share!
Thanks man. I requested this. This is one of my favorite books. Excellent Review.
Glad to hear you enjoyed the video Erick. It's one of my favorite books as well. What is your favorite takeaway from the book??
My favorite take away is Chapter1 Intense Realism: See Things For Are. Most self-help New Age books teach the exact opposite. They promote solipsism under the guise of The Law Of Attraction. Most people(especially women) are narcissistic and self-absorbed because they don't see other people for who they are. They see other people as reflections of themselves or what they want them to be. If you cant see people objectively and judge them by their actions you cannot relate to them or protect yourself from their manipulations.
+Erick Yup thats so true, people can sometimes get lost in their own fantasies. Chapter one reminds me a lot of stoicism. Another great book to check out is "the daily stoic," by Ryan Holiday. If chapter one was your favorite, then I believe you'll love "the daily stoic."

Holy shit bro!! I just found your channel and the quality of your videos are absolutely extraordinary! I love the fire content 🔥
👏👏👏👏👏 love this!
+Bread и Butter :)
It regurgitates and builds on the stoics. although I disagree with some of the statements ("knowing when to be bad" and such) I recommend it to build perspective and help organise and fill in the gaps in certain areas of knowledge.
Love this
+Olivier Redwood Glad you enjoyed the summary Oliver! I appreciate your support

TridentLion Thank you for making the video! I'm watching it over many times, we have to be reminded of this daily.
+blackbirdx7777 Your welcome blackbird :)
This is a stoic concept. Read Meditations by Marcus Arelieus or Discourses by Epictetus
I have Kiza, I'm a huge fan of stoicism. Ryan holiday books I've read and the daily stoic I've read like 4 times

I like the music in the background
This was awesome! I found myself lacking the patience to complete this book because I was so stuck on the first chapter. It is a constant struggle to keep my mind focused on reality instead of how I think things should be for reasons I won't get into here. This video helped me to realize that there's so much more useful information in this book and I'll be revisiting it to help me learn and grow!
Awesome! Glad to hear you got value from it Stephan. Focusing had always been a challenge for me. Audiobooks helped me get through several books. It's easier and more convenient to listen to a book on the go.

"The 50th Law" by Robert Greene and 50 Cent is an exceptional collaboration that melds the wisdom of a bestselling author with the experiences of a successful rapper and entrepreneur. This book dives deep into fearlessness, hustle, and the mindset required to overcome adversity. Through compelling stories and lessons, it provides a blueprint for personal transformation and success, encouraging readers to embrace fear and harness it as a powerful tool for achievement. A captivating read that challenges and inspires in equal measure.

Stoic! 🌱🌴
Gotta love stoicism!
Great video thank you.
You're welcome Christa!
Who’s watching this during quarantine?
Hey Alex! Hope it was valuable for you during the quarantine
How the fuck I’m I supposed to have a sense of urgency and have patience OXYMORON
This books is nothing but a work of LITERARY COLLAGE. There is absolutely nothing that 50 Cent says there that is "his". The whole book is just different stoic principle put together. I find it DISHONEST to put the work of Marcus Aurelius, Epictetus and other Stoics, then call it "50 Cent Laws" (or "50th Law") . The epitome of self-centred arrogance! Of course, he had join Robert Greene's name for credibility and marketing purpose.
The worst thing is, despite all the stoic principles he puts together in "his book", there is absolutely nothing stoic about the way the man lives his life: watch him instigate conflicts, throw insults at his ex-girlfriends/mother of his children, mistreat and even insult his own child, put up online sex tapes of his ex-girlfriends to shame her (resulting in a lawsuit)... just to name a few.
There are better authors out there. Real ones.
Cool thanks Spyder for the input!
Me thinks you are simply a hater.😂
😆
😆
I think most of this is incorrect. Fearing nothing and treating every day like it's your last isn't good advice at all, because in all likelihood it's not your last and truthfully there are many rational fears. If I lived every day like it was my last, I would be fat and in prison by the end of the year. If I feared nothing, I would be dead by the end of the day. Absolutes like these might appeal to a rapper but they lack the nuance characteristic of Greene's other works.
I appreciate your thoughts and articulated response. Most people don't put in the effort to state there stance. What's your favorite Robert Greene book?
@@TridentLion Thank you. My favorite has to be "The 33 Strategies of War"
Nice! That might his most underrated book
pussy
50 Cents is one of the most successful entertainers and entrepreneurs of this generation. When he says get rich or die trying or live each day like it's your last. What he is saying is; You have got to be willing to put in the maximum amount of effort in your daily actions of your pursuits.
Why you put. Unnecessary background MUSIC in this video.. It is very disturbing for the people who are not good in English... Plz dont do these use less experiments... I stop this video at 4:14 time... And now will find. .. Some other video... Plz dont add useless things.. With important things.. Thaks
Apologies that the music is distracting for you. Based on your comment I find your English to be good.👍 Appreciate the feedback tho
Background music is annoying
Ok, so the first words. Saying that fear the oldest emotion know to people is so dumb. It's like saying hands are the first body part known to man. You couldn't know because man existed before they could write and althought it's likely because how baby's usally discover them when they're moving past their field of veiw before any other it's still very dumb unprovable and not interesting at all.
Fear is necessary for the mind. It's there to make us survive, not happy. I appreciate your perspective & feedback on the book tho Bary.
Look, I love Robert Greene and his body of work, but the 50th LAW SUCKS. It's meandering, I keep waiting to get anything out of it. 50 Cent is a sociopath, why not Chuck D or an intelligent and legitimate rapper? It has been 10 years of trying to get something meaningful out of this book, like RG's others, but it just sounds like a mesh of errant bullshit. I'm done trying to get into it.
Hey Tariq thanks for the input. I appreciate and agree with your perspective to an extent. RG's other books are far more extensive and densely packed with valuable info. What is your personal favorite RG book?
This helped me!! I’ll be watching more then once 😅💖🎶🔥⚡️🏗️
