As many of you, I absolutely loved the new Joker (2019 ) movie. Since then I have been obsessed with it and decided to pay tribute to another fantastic Joker every one of you knows already.
Heath Ledger's performance remains to me one of the most powerful, complex and chilling I ever saw.

@@Chad-hf3typretty sure the intended dialogue is "fair". Not only does it play into the Dent character arc, but it's also in the subtitles, if I recall. It's a fair misunderstanding. Thought it was "fear" for sometime myself.
The fault is ultimately the voice coach (as they don't do subtitles for English native speaking audiences). You can't have a focus on a certain accent (think it's Chicagoan) and not expect that mix-up.

There are many things that sum up why I love the Joker's character - He is a very intelligent man, always two steps ahead, continuously underestimated, highly unpredictable, a master manipulator and truly fearless. A man with nothing to lose turning the world into his personal playground, and enjoys every single moment along the way like a lunatic.

You know why i love heath’s joker so much? Because when i see him, i don’t see Heath.. he completely became another person and there is something so addictive about his performance (i think it’s bcs joker’s past is a mystery) and so charismatic that it ‘commands’ the audience to focus on the screen whenever joker came out... I don’t think he was as much another person as he were the physical manifestation of chaos.
The thumbnail image, when people refused to blow up the two ships, and the Joker was confident that the ship would explode, and when it did not explode, the Joker's face turned into an unhappy and frustrated face for the first time in the movie. When I watched this scene, I felt victorious. Heath really played the role of the villain in an imaginative and creative way and it made me I hate him.

It shows more like what kind of man the Joker is. This video also shows how much Joker knows Batman (for something he's Batman's greatest enemy), he knows Batman's rule (Not killing), and Joker plays with his rule over and over. What do you understand about this Joker lmao, he just wants to see everything blows. It doesn't make him less fascinating but you just fell into his trap, he was lying to the white knight (I forgot his name).

I don’t know how dialogue this good gets written, seriously this is one of the few movies where almost everything was thought up before hand, i can’t really call it anything other than brilliant.

It's a Nolan movie and ledger did a lot of improvising so the credit goes to the whole team.
The movie was well written so many things went over people's heads that are just now figuring out. I'm going to tell you something you didn't know when the Joker told the Batman that they were the same nobody knew exactly what the Joker meant, and here's the thing Thomas Wayne had an affair and had a child with that woman and the son is the Joker.

@Logan 14 Joaquin hardly even feels like the Joker though. He’s not smart, he doesn’t have any plans, and he kinda just bumbles and lucks his way out of problems. He doesn’t care about spreading a message and is more concerned that his feelings are hurt. Heath is my personal fav Joker because he’s an embodiment of chaos, whereas Joaquin is more of a victim.

The idea of this joker is that he doesn't have a back story, He doesn't have a motive and that's what makes him so intriguing. He represents all of us when the chips finally fall.

@@L1_L2 Humans beings use logical thinking to justify their killings and extortions of the world and try and make a moral code, pretending they still have a little good in them. But in reality once it’s about survival all bets are off, its no longer a choice, it’s an instinct.

Yes, he made a good man into an evil one, but he wasn’t able to do the same with the entire population of Gotham. They chose not to press the button, which proves that humans are generally GOOD, not evil.
This is pure madness. The performance of Heath Ledger in this movie is an ART. Every single time I watch it, I get goosebumps. This act is Impossible.
