Jeff Huelsman Hi Jeff, I am planning to do a lesson for she lit a fire and time to run soon. In the meantime, for she lit a fire play a C chord all the way through the verses. Strumming is DUDUDU or DDUUDU, whichever you prefer. After the verse when it says "hey hey......heyyyy hey", play a C for the hey hey, then switch briefly to F for the heyyyy and then back to C on the final hey. The only other part is the bridge which goes F - Am - G - C all the way through. I usually change my strumming pattern for this part to contrast with the verses, so if you use DDUUDU for the verses, use DUDUDU for the bridge - sounds nice. If you have another guitar player, they can play the little picking riff that ben schnieder plays the whole song. Pick the second string the whole time and put your finger on the following fret -> 1 - 3 - 1 - 5 - 1 - 3 - 1 - 3 - 1 - 5 - 1. Unfortunately, you need two guitar players to get the full effect as the picking part doesn't sound full enough on its own - I always just strum the chords and leave out the picking riff and it sounds pretty good with singing. HEY! I absolutely love your "Cursed" tutorial! I play it all the time now :) Can you do a tutorial for "Louisa" from their album Strange Trails and "Time to Run" from Lonesome. I'm only a beginner so hopefully the chords are easy haha. Thank you!

+gilliangirl1 I'm not sure exactly what you mean, but I will say that it is always best to go with your own interpretation of the song. If you hear a different strumming pattern than I do, etc. then by all means adapt it to your preferences! I think as people start to advance in their guitar playing they start saying "you know what, I think I would play that a little differently than he did". This is a good thing for your progression as a guitarist.
Yeah, I heard this extra notes too. There is some strumming between the two patterns I believe. The chord change seems to happen on the 5th beat of each measure.
Could you fix the audio so its no just in the left ear when wearing headphones?

I was able to learn Lonesome Dreams by watching some of their live shows but I'm still kinda iffy on SLAF hehe
