Mines my brother, i dont care if he one day finds me and apologises for how he treated me and what he threatened to do, i would call the police on him for trespassing and have them tell him he is never to seek me out again and will get a restraining order if he tries to contact me again in any other way as well
I had 3 brothers who enjoyed tormenting me from age 13-17.. My weight fluctuated from a size 6-10 most of my life: I told them to shut up or go to hell. But one day when I was about age 21, they started in on my younger sister who was 19 and pregnant.. They were all on my mom & dad's front porch and made her cry; I fricking lost it on them. I told them they all had huge guts and and were nothing but total AHs and bullys.. My brother said " Oh we teased you all the time and you never cried" I said " you are right, I would never give any of you the satisfaction of seeing me cry, but inside I HATED YOU ALL.. I also told them their wife's had done shitty jobs of making them behave like men, and know how to treat a pregnant women.. They did apologize but held there heads down.. That was the last time any of them ever made a crappy comment again..
@@lisahicks4697 It is in fact very thin.. I'm 5ft2, I went on a diet about 18yrs ago; and lost 50lbs over one year.. I got down to 112. Every person I met told me I was to thin even strangers (I was a bartender so met a lot of people): it was crazy.. I did not plan to get to 112, I planned to get to 125 and stop but I just kept losing.. I bet there isn't one pinch of fat on the OP, her dad just loves to trash her so she has no self esteem..
He's never going to get it. He's devoid of empathy. Some people should never have power or influence, and, unfortunately, the power they get comes from procreation. The "I created your life so I can do whatever I want with it" mentality is probably the most toxic, damaging parenting style you could have. It's use to justify every kind of abuse. It's second only maybe to, "I'm not hitting or molesting you, so it's not abuse." But it's a close race. I still occasionally mentally hear the comments my father made about my hair when I'm brushing it. "Wild woman of Borneo" was his favorite. I vividly remember the comments about my body he made, standing there with his beer gut passing judgment on 13 year old me, having the second period of my entire life. It was so bad, his wife, who never interceded in his other bullying before, poked her head in the room and gave him an earful. It does mess you up. It does haunt you the rest of your life. It replays over and over no matter how hard you try not to think about it. Personally, it sends me down the rabbit hole each time. His reasoning why I should forgive him? "It was 10 years ago, get over it."
