I prefer the live version. It is more emotional and it has a violin solo instead of guitar solo. And it is so beautiful!
    Thank you for the reaction!

I ke that one too BUT Jill is the queen of playng guitar solos on violin in particular anything her brother plays.

Thanks for mixing Unlucky Morpheus into your guest reactions, Joel. If I may make a request, “Unending Sorceress” is a good one that features Jill a little more prominently. Use that one, too!

THE DRUMMING IS INTENSE. THE OTHER INSTRUMENTS BLEND SO WELL WITH THE DRUMS. IS THAT A PERFECT MIX AND ARRANGEMENT? ALL OF THE TONES FROM EVERYONE SEEM PERFECT TO ME.

Being a huge Jill fan, I prefer the live video. Because 1 guitar player couldn't perform and Jill filled in. Her version of the guitar solo is just awesome.

They are at their best live, like Lovebites, both live versions of Black Pentagram online are better because Jill is much more heavily featured.

What's the point of a professional roadie showing a tour manager (two experts in live performances) an MV.
Especially if you think that Unlucky Morpheus has such incredible live videos like "Angreifer", "Dignity of Spirit" or "Black Pentagram" uploaded on RUclips?

The Angra tribute song they wrote is a better showcase for the band.

They are impressive, and I like them. I like to listen to them. But, for some reason I am not really 100% hooked. I am not sure why. Maybe it is because I get a feeling that the guitarist and the drummer plays fast just because they can play fast. Its a bit music gymnastics. OK - Lovebites is also playing fast. But I think it is more melodic and more groove to it and more diversity within the same song. Maybe. Or, it might be what you are used to?

I THINK THE URGENCY OF THE COMPOSITION HAS TO DO WITH THE DRAMATIC LYRICS? THE JAPANESE LANGUAGE HAS THE MOST SYLABLES PER MINUTE, I THINK? UM DEFINETLY NOT FOR EVERYONE; I DON'T LISTEN TO THEM ALL OF THE TIME BUT THEY ARE AN IMPORTANT PART OF MY TOTAL MIX.

You can take any fast song and say the musicians are playing fast just to play fast.

@@PaleHorseShabuShabu No, not really. Painkiller is an extremely fast song that is very well written, and the speed tells a story. I also think that Lovebites almost always write fast songs with an interesting structure, and where the speed is a part of the song. This song I think is unnecessary fast. It could be made much more listenable by bringing down the speed IMHO. And have you heard Black Hole by BAND-MAID? It is very complex and fast. And the speed matches the urgency.

@@rolandkarlsson7072 But to the untrained ear, Painkiller and LOVEBITES are “unnecessarily fast.” I’m used to UM’s speed, and I know enough about their music to know they’re telling a story. Perspective, I guess

UNHOLY ORPHEUS is coming‼️🤘 Fuki said it's a new melodic metalcore project from Unlucky Morpheus without her in the latest concert I went to see. They also unveiled a new song called 'TRAUMATA'. Awesome! 🎻Jill kills❣️ She headbangs and doesn’t miss a string.💥
