I come back here from time to time to see and listen to this.....Kate has a direct line to the Universe and isn't she just amazing at relaying the messages it sends us....Loved your music since 1978 Kate....will love it forever....
I just watched this particular video for the first time...I usually watch the video with the girl on the bicycle... both of them are really moving, but I think I can make it through this one without losing it a little easier than the other.

Kate's music does the same to me. I especially cannot listen to this song without tears coming to my eyes.
"Under the Ivy" is another of Kate's songs that tug at my heart-strings with every listen.
Also "The Kick Inside" (debut album's title track) can be emotional.
But the emotion that mostly comes to me while listening to Kate Bush's music is pure joy!!
Peter Green im so sorry for the loss of your nephew in 2017, how sad and tragic ~ my heart goes out to you and the family 🕊🤍 ~ my 17yr old nephew almost lost his life on New Year’s Day this year from a vicious stabbing attack. The shock is still with us. This song absolutely does it for me and brings tears for many lost spirits and those gone by. Love & blessings 👼🌹🌹🌹

Envision Kate's vocals - and beautifully paced piano work - as part of a movie soundtrack. Her lyrics would leave people bawling in the aisles - she cuts that deep. If there ever was a song by Kate Bush that would truly earn an Oscar, this would be that one.

I listen to the Before the Dawn live version of this sweet song and marvel at the confidence and tranquility of a master at work.
Kate and her piano, every note, every phrase, every chord and nuance captured perfectly. And each time I hear her sing that beautiful line "They shimmer, like mirrors...", my mind's eye always takes me back to that point in the Mr Marrs offering and it becomes that much more special. The value added by his masterful touch is so appreciated.
