    My daughter lost about 5-6 inches in a year from me doing these things but I’ve gotten her hair back to waist length with these practices. You are so spot on!

    This was me the latter part of last year.😢 We did not retain as much length as previous years but we are going back to basics and we're going to stop taking short cuts because they will definitely catch up with us!!!!

    I was putting my 3yo’s daughter butt length hair in the same ponytails. I stopped about a month ago. Now I just put them in box braids. I lost so much hair when I was younger by wearing the same ponytail everyday.

      So glad you've switched things up sis! We live and we learn. Did your daughter experience breakage like you did when you were younger?

      @@ncbynovella no, I’m trying to prevent that by watching videos like this. But, I surely appreciate you telling us your sister’s story bc I can definitely relate. Especially since daughter’s hair is long and thick and she is young and we are both impatient 🙃. Thank you!

    My 3.5 year old’s length has definitely been affected . Is the prepoo step essential for natural hair ? (I grew up with dread locks and did not get properly educated on my own hair care let alone natural hair)

    • @ncbynovella
      @ncbynovella  7 месяцев назад +1

      Aww sorry to read that, hopefully my videos help where your knowledge is lacking. So pre pooing isn't essential for every child but it definitely helps for example if your little one's hair is tangled prior to washing. My next video I'll be going deeper into how to create a regimen and the importance of each step. Essentially you want to pay attention to your daughter's hair and only include steps that will be beneficial for her hair and make taking care of her hair a breeze 👑

    Is washing weekly better than biweekly

    • @ncbynovella
      @ncbynovella  7 месяцев назад +1

      Weekly is ok and so is bi weekly washing, what's more important is washing your hair/your LO's hair based on their scalps hair needs and how much moisture they are currently retaining for example 👑
