You had a visit from one of the politest and kind auditors on youtube and I think you came out well :) Your site was SUPER interesting to see and it looked really well run. You'll find that many people who watch this will think the same and leave you VERY positive reviews. Once again, well done for managing to get over being audited :) and major thanks to DJ for making such awesome and interesting videos and being kind but firm with people who don't know the law.

Only one visit with two women, has anyone ever got the better of him. I am always a bit worried to read "recycling" and "garage" in audit videos , they can be dodgy. The subject of the drone video was very interesting today. It's still hilarious every time they come up to a camera and ask to turn it off for "their privacy".

Having lived in Wiltshire for over 30 years I can confirm that we are rather slow on the uptake around here. We have only just got used to the automobile. UTube and social media is going to take another 30 years to sink in.

These are the most well spoken ‘scrap guys’ / recyclers I’ve seen yet. Often they come across as real villains in this industry. These are much more professional, even though he erroneously instructed you not to use the drone. None of these recycling/ scrap places like the yards being video’s. Supposedly intelligent people know a lot about the one or two things they graduated in, but not much about anything else. Their general knowledge is pitiful, as shown by all the graduates on quiz shows, and journalists/historians/scientists etc on celebrity quiz shows who always get the lowest scores...unless they're up against reality TV "stars."

Just got back from my first drone test flight it was super easy thanks for ur advice once it was up it was a dream to control. Love the latest videos. Standing up for drone rights. A farmer saw me flying over his field and left me to it. I went quite a way to find a place to fly safely. Since I’ve done that I know I don’t need to have a huge area to fly in as like u said once it is up it’s pretty easy to control.

Assume you are using a sub 250 grams drone as the rules relating to exactly where/how it can be flown are far more relaxed than a heavier drone. I am based Notts/Derby border and fly a DJI Phantom 3. When funds allow I an going to hopefully purchase a mini 3 - I think Auditors PJ and DJ use a mini 2, or 3. Look forward to seeing your video footage.

Useful video DJ , I'm in the process of building a model railway featuring a scrapyard 😊 A few years ago I visited my nearest EMR in Winson Green and I was told by the security guy that I wasn't allowed to take reference photo's, and I was outside, I know better now, but a pity the rail lines into there have it seems since ceased to be served by scrap trains.

The silver stuff coming in and being pressed into blocks is shearing from car body parts manufacturers, possibly from a local car plant. No idea where it’s being shipped out to, possibly China due to the rock bottom cost of container shipping back to China from Europe currently

PJ got attacked at a Scrap yard , the scrap yard got bombarded with negative reviews , so they shut their website down.
The railway does seem to be in use. If you look on Google Earth there is a goods train that appears to be loaded with those metal squares.
