I found that if you want to display a GIF, a much quicker method you can use is to press the "Import" button on the TFT screen page. You can just upload the GIF file there and saves you having to split it into images online.
That actually didn’t work for me it loaded up to 1% and white screened but that definitely would’ve been easier.

Just got this keyboard and was really excited to upload a gif, also note for anyone who cant see the screen option in the settings make sure you have keyboard connected with USB prob should of realised that but my excitement with how nice the board was was overshowing that part.
Flawless tutorial, to the point, well explained and document. I had the issue that every time I imported any gif, it kept appearing everything in black. Turns out it was the software version for me.

Do you have such a problem when you log into the keyboard drivers, the gif is replaced with a standard image. There is also such a problem that when switching the connection mode, the color or backlight mode changes?
With the method I've used to add the gif to the keyboard I don't have the first problem you described. And also for the second question: yes it does switch back to the rainbow I change it back to white each time it changes
It took me a while to actually find a way to get the working software but after that this video helped me actually get a good gif. For me I chose shin godzilla and godzilla 2014. I know the best gifs in the world.... :)

mine just is always stuck on a white screen on the keyboard and in the software, the frames are blank

Hi, i have question i've seen the video about the gif rotation, can you make clear in text? since it seems i already add more than 1 gif in the ajazz software but they only play the last gif i upload to the keyboard, or should i add more than 1 gif in the splitted image then upload it? thanks

Thanks! 😊 Ya you can do it the second way, it's just a continuous rotation, you can't really switch between gifs without connecting the keyboard again, I don't think. But best way to describe what I was saying in text would be to
1. scroll right and click the last picture in the frames you already imported
2. then click the "+" button by copy, edit, undo etc
3. then add the new frames you want the same way you added the first one by selecting all etc.

Hey! I’m sorry to ask but does anyone know how to charge the keyboards battery? I’ve read through the manual and all it says is if the red light is on its low battery but says nothing on how to actually charge it??
Plug in the usb-c cable that came with the keyboard and it should start charging
hi i am having problems opening the software on my computer, when i try and open the file it asks to open it through the media player. How/ what did you use to open the file once it was downloaded. Thank you!
Have you extracted the software first? Otherwise it should just open just the same as installing any other software!

Do you have the option to change the speed of the GIF? It's faster when displayed on the keyboard.
the number under each frame is the delay, change it from the default 50 to 100 and it slows down
Hello dear, searching on the same site I couldn't find the drive, even trying to use just the AK820 in the search. Could you upload the drive and make it available here?

Have you tested the 2.4g connection mode by any chance? If yes is there a delay? BTW loved your modding video on this keyboard :)
Thank you!! I have used the 2.4g & I think depending on how far you are from your receiver is how bad the delay could be (but that's for all 2.4ghz connections). I play MOBA games so to me wired connection is always best for no delay! 😊

Hi there! I just purchased this keyboard and I'm trying to follow these instructions, but when I try to launch the application it says "Device not detected" but it is connected to the wire. Any ideas on how to fix this?
Did you also switch the switch on the back of the board to usb mode?
thanks for this! quick question, im trying to upload multiple gifs to rotate through but when i add the frames for the second gif, it is for some reason in reverse. First gif is fine but second one is always reversed. Any idea how i can fix this? Thank you!
I'm not 100% sure because mine worked fine, but do you make sure to click the last frame of the existing gif before uploading another one?
I just bought this keyboard too and i was wondering if you have figured out if there is any way to get the red battery light to turn off while you are using it in wired mode?
It’ll turn off when it finishes charging!

I downloaded it from the epomaker website since they removed this from the ajazz one but when i Import anything it's a black screen in the software and white on the keyeboard, can u maybe send me the old software?
Hi. is it possible to get the gif onto the keyboard via a macbook? I can't seem to download the driver :(
mmm apparently the app isn't supported on mac but someone said they were able to use someone else's pc to upload the gif
Hello. Can your keyboard be custom rgb using dongle 2.4 software. I can not. If i using wired, i can custom but not for 2.4. Are you experiencing the same thing?
Nope! I just tested it again and I can customize my rgb while using the 2.4g! Maybe reach out to them and see what they suggest!

after installing the sofware, i dont have the option for customize the TFT screen in the menu...i have tried to reinstal the software but i still have the same result. The option is not visible in my menu. Can you help me ? Thanks
i finally found the solution ! you must connect the keyboard with the cable and the option will appear ... and you will be able to change the gif.

Hi, the driver on the website is replace with version v 1.2 not v 1.0 anymore, and in that version theres no tft screen page, pls help

hello! so basically i’m having trouble importing the file into it. when i click the file all of the frames open. when i click import then the file they just open and i’m not sure how to do it. can u help me? thanks
sorry!! I'm not 100% sure what you mean, but after the frames open, did you press "upload to keyboard"?
Is The Gif will always saved?
After i turn off the keyboard. The gif or the TFT change back to default (Time thing on my AK870Pro.)
Is it possible to always saved in the keyboard without setting it back in the Software Driver?
Yea! I think the problem you have might be fixed with FN + Knob, rotate until you see the gif, click it again to lock it in!
I'm wondering if you can remap the knobs to do something else other than volume. It looks like a pretty good value board.
You can use it for brightness and stuff too!
My keyboard has a screen but when I run the application I don't see the screen!
Thank you! I have one problem though. The gif is playing but the original display is in the background blending in with this one. Its not screen burn because I have waited for a long time and it didn't go away. Does anybody know how to fix this?
I would suggest to message their customer service! First time hearing about this problem I don't have a solution! 😥

hi! will the gif only play for as long as its connected via USB to the app? coz when i removed the usb and switched to bluetooth, the keyboard turned off and the gif stopped playing :((

No it will play in wireless too! Press FN + click the knob, scroll until you see your gif then click it again to lock it in. 🙂

Hi, I recently bought this keyboard and have been facing a problem. When I finish configuring the LED lights and the GIF in cable mode and switch to 2.4g mode, the entire keyboard configuration changes. The LEDs return to another color and the GIF screen changes to the keyboard default. Do you know how I can try to solve this, I don't know if I'm doing something wrong.
Yea I didn't realize it did that either until someone commented on that a couple weeks ago... unfortunately I don't know how to permanently change that as I deal with it too!
Hey, try pressing fn+del when in 2.4G to change the display mode to GIF after you downloaded it via USB. As for lights, you should be able to configure them either by keybord screen menu, or in software. But it seems that there's no way to save your settings when you change connection mode, so try avoiding it.

Hello! I'm having problems since I downloaded the software. My other key functions have swapped like when I press left alt key = windows function, F1 key is brightness etc. Please someone help me figure this out. This is my first mech keyb q.q
I just tested it on my keyboard, and I think you have the keyboard switched to MAC instead of WINDOWS! Happened to me before 😊

Hi Anita! This was very helpful, importing directly work for me if choosing only one gif. However, I used your method of splitting them for adding several together and I was able to basically import a whole movie in gif mode haha.
I do have a challenge, I have my keyboard wired and everytime it goes to sleep I have to unplug and plug back again for it to be recognized, plus it goes back to original settings. Have you encountered this issue?

hello sir, i really need your help. i already download latest 1.2 version of ak280 pro apps for ajazz website. but i does not have GIF menu like versi 1.0 . i also download 1.0 version but it does not detect my keyboard. please help me. tq in advance
i downloaded version 1 and it didn't detect my keyboard but then i got the new version 1.2 and it does have it, just make sure you are on the usb wired mode with the keyboard plugged in otherwise it doesn't show up as an option but if you plug the keyboard in and reload the app it works.
Is there a way to download the software for MAC? I couldn't find a software for the AK820

Hey! First of all thank you for the video i uploaded it to my keyboard but it only shows it on the display when connected thru usb not when ihm wireless connected - can you help me if you know why?
I’m not sure but someone commented before about the gif not showing try FN + volume knob was their solution.

Not sure if anyone could help me, but mine got bugged, it displays GIFs that I already removed from the application. I tried your method and also tried uploading directly with the TFT option but both failed, do I need to use a specific gif size? Please help! :(

It worked, but is there any way to have a gif in the mini screen while is connected by 2.4g? or it just works by wired, and the other question, when I plug in my keyboard it starts charging and turns on a red light, is there any way to turn it off? its kinda anoying tbh
it works wireless too! You just have to add the gif wired first then in wireless mode to see the gif you have to press FN + knob, scroll left, press it again to lock it in :) the red light turns off automatically after it is fully charged!

I'm not sure, the tft part only shows when your keyboard is plugged in though! If that still doesn't work you might have to message their support.

Hi! I dont know if you still read comments here but, I am having trouble with the software. I downloaded it (from epomaker because ajazz wasnt working.) and it looks like how your screen looks at 4:27, but even though the keyboard is on and working it only stays on that screen. I have it on bluetooth, so im wondering if it matters that it has to be wireless? I can mess around with the TFT screen when using the shortcuts on my keyboard, but none of that has to do with the tft screen gif display either.
Yea! It has to be connected via cable for you to see the tft part in the program! Make sure the mode is switched to USB too in the back!

you can sync time and date in the program on the computer!
Mine for some reason whenever I upload the images it just shows that there’s 55 images but the images don’t show and when I upload I just get white screen
Someone mentioned in the comments that cropping helped them with that I think! Maybe try that if not message Ajazz for help!
I have a single question (the tutorial was neat) Is there a way to display data on the screen as in default, but showing other thing, for example RAM in use?
It only shows basic stuff like connection, time etc!

When i open the ajazz app, my GIF will set to the default time GIF. Do you have any suggestions to keep my custom GIF even though i open the app?

I uploaded a gif to the keyboard using wired mode, but when I switch to 2.4ghz dongle mode. The gif does not appear and resets to the clock face. How can I display the gif in 2.4ghz dongle mode?
Someone said FN + knob, see if that helps! Otherwise I would say message their support for more help.

can you please put the link for the download, the ajazz website made a new version (1.2v.rar) and this software doesnt have the screen so im unable to put my gif or anything on the screen.
I think someone commented this before but it should show when you plug in the keyboard! Try plugging in before opening the app/ plugging in after opening the app.

I plugged in the usb for the keyboard but it didn't connect to the keyboard? I tried using 2.4g and i work on the software but the TV icon does not show up.
is the switch in the back switched to usb mode? That's the only other problem I could think of, if that doesn't help still I would suggest messaging customer service for some help!

Unfortunately there's no way to add 2 separate gifs on this keyboard!

@AnitaDer I did it and I discovered a whole menu, thank you! I also red the manual and found about all the fn+key functions. I stole your idea for the disappearing Homer, but at the time I set the gif of the rooster with the lute from Robin Hood.
My next project will be trying to mod it a bit, I'll follow your video for the istructions, so thank you for that too!
If I upload a gif to the screen then unplug the keyboard from my pc then plug into say a console will the gif stay?
Yea it'll stay, you just got to change the screen to gif mode with FN + knob
