LEG DAY WORKOUT with Dumbbells - Strong Legs | Circuit Series Day 1

- So many of our favourite exercises in today’s leg workout! We will strengthen the quads, hamstrings and glutes as we perform a wide variety of lower body exercises using dumbbells and bodyweight as resistance in circuit format but as always the bodyweight portion isn’t easier!
For this leg day, you will need a pair of dumbbells, a chair for Bulgarian lunges and single leg RDLs, a yoga block/thick book and your mat!
The dumbbells I am using for your reference are 12.5kg each! Some of the exercises involve x2 dumbbells, 1 or bodyweight but of course you can use 2 where I maybe use 1 depending on the weight you are using!
The timer will be on for 50 seconds of work, 10 seconds rest before moving to the next exercise within the circuit!
We will perform each circuit x2, straight after one another. Once we complete the circuits for 2 rounds, we then have just over 1 minute rest before beginning next circuit!

My favourite burnout at the end for the legs… heel elevated half rep squats! 😁
• you can perform the Good Morning exercise bodyweight if new to this.

Can we all just take a sec and appreciate the HIGHEST and ultimate level of professionalism Caroline brings up every day. Before I found Caroline's channel I was always swtiching between different youtuber's workouts because after a week or two they were no longer fun or challenging. Caroline is the only person who I have been working out with for several months and every workout still kills me!!! in a good way :)

This was an AMAZING workout! I felt really unmotivated this morning and just wanted to sleep longer. But I did it! I got started and the time FLEW by. My legs are really exhausted now. The last circuit got super tough because of how tired my muscles were, and the body weight finisher is always nooo joke!
If you’re feeling unmotivated as well, just remember that the feeling you get afterwards is always worth it, and you’re most likely to end up feeling better than you are now. I hope y’all smash this session!💪🏻🔥

I remember when I first started epic 1, I would berly do the exercises with 2kg now I do some with 11-12 kg wich is insane. This is all because of you and your workouts and I'm so thankfull for everything. :)

Amazing! It is insane.. Had the same thought when I did some biceps curls with 9 kgs last week, when I only could lbarely lift 5 starting up last year!

I really like the length of these workouts 30-45 minutes is like the perfect amount of time! And if we want a longer workout, we can just add on another video

Just finished this and my legs were literally annihilated! Now, when I did once again after your proposed playlist of workouts for this week I see huge progress - a month ago I couldn't do hamstrings lifts on the yoga block, and today it happened to be a miracle! Even the hamstrings holds. That's amazing, Caroline!

Had to take a break for 3 days as we get busy and I have to change my workout sched from 5 days to 3 days per week as I'll get busy this year. Used 15lbs pair and a single one and I am all tired right now. I've been active for 3 days and it is not only for 3 days I'll get always active and busy so no problem when I workout for 3 days per week. This was tough! I love the variations it target all the muscle of my legs and my weights has helped targetting it and my upper body even aches right now. Love all these weekly challenges. I’m so excited….this is the second time I completed this workout and first time I did it I remember really struggling through it, but this time…..well I can’t say I wasn’t struggling, but I was struggling a little less. Progress!!

Awesome to revisit this one. Circuits was one of my favourite weeks. It´s noticeable the difference in strenght in just one month, I reember really REALLY struggling for the hamstring bridge hold the first time and today I got a pretty decent version. How to thank you Caroline, just hoping you are having the best week!

Last Fridays Unilateral full body was a real turning point for me, using 17kg, 💪😀 So today I set up 15kg and 17kg, I really wanted to push myself, so I started with 2x15kg for the squats and then changed to 17kgs for everything else, the Bulgarians and Curtsy lunges were really hard to balance, dug deep and got it done, 💪 loved the good mornings, and of course the RDLS 👌👊🌟 BW was just as good, loved this. ❤️ My HR was the highest so far for strength training and dripping with sweat 🥵🥵🥵🥵
I'm on cloud 9, these programs are literally phenomenal,🌟🌟🌟 the progress I'm achieving is amazing,

Rats, I missed out on two days as I was coming home from a two month stay with my daughter who needed my help during a time she was on bed rest and later gave me a most precious baby grandson… my drive home was 14 hours and there was no getting around that. Sometimes life sweetly derails us but you and your workouts were a backdrop to my entire adventure with my family. You kept me strong and focused, inspired and motivated to be the best - thank you always, Caroline! I don’t know how I’d do without you always being here for me. Sending positive thoughts from 🇨🇦
Wowzers! Completed this for the second time 8/30/21 and it wasn’t any easier! The one minute rest between circuits is heaven, but the 10 second rest between moves…hard! Love how I feel after though!

I finished this series yesterday. I was coming back from a one-week vacation on the first day of the series. It felt so good to get back to the gym and these workouts were perfect for that. Thank you for your incredible work once more

Excellent start to the Circuits week of training, thank you Caroline for this great legs session. I particularly liked the elevated elements, giving much greater depth in the squats and lunges 👍😀✔️. One of the reasons I got motivated and serious again with my fitness was because I came across one of your kettlebell videos last May. One of the best things I found on RUclips. Seeing your workouts really inspire me to do more. I am nowhere near where I want to be but I promised myself to be consistent and patient 😀
That was some sweaty fun!! Loved that! Very challenging and tiring but leaves you feeling amazing! I loved all of the circuits..I can't pick a favorite!😆 I really enjoyed doing the Bulgarians, RDLs, Good Mornings, and elevated curtsies. The elevated hamstring lifts and holds burned so good..just brillant! 👏🏻 I thought my weights would feel heavier today after being gone for 2 weeks and only being able to do bodyweight workouts..I was wrong!! Haha. Questioning if I can go up on weight now!😆😁💪🏻. Love it! Definitely expecting some DOMS to set in later today! Thanks so much Caroline! Have a wonderful day everyone. See you all tomorrow!!😊

I had a different training schedule for the last two weeks as well ... this week I decided to do 'unilateral series' and I absolutely enjoyed every single lunge I did today! 🤣😆🔥🔥🔥 I'm looking forward to tomorrow's upper body session.

This is by far my favorite low body workout. I love the sequence of exercises as much as the lenght of the workout: 45 minutes couldn’t be more perfect.

This workout was killer!!🔥🔥💪and so much fun to do!! I absolutely love circuit training thanks to Caroline! To be honest, I was super sore this morning when I woke so I wasn’t sure how today’s workout was going to go for me, but I pushed through and feel so amazing after!! I will probably do some stretching later to help with soreness though. Can’t wait to feel the burn tomorrow!! 😁😁💪🔥

Done! brilliant! The first circuit the toughest because entirely with weights but, as usual, in the others the Bodyweight killed me especially the hamstrings circuit .... Dead 🥵! Add-on for me: 15 minutes of wall sit! Fantastic leg day! TYSM Caroline ❤️

ANOTHER amazing session!!!! I used my 2 - 25's except on those bulgarians. Those were tough right out of the gate!!! Had to drop to my 2 - 20lb on those. I am loving these weeks you have put together. I have said it time and time again, but you are the VERY best trainer out there. I look forward everyday to the little details you put into it also.
