Maybe because instead of talking to the "people who moved to Denmark in the 90's" you just isolate them, where this girl, you would talk to her in a heartbeat.
I find that, if your background is Anglo-Saxon it's not that difficult to learn since the German and English elements are already there in the language.
Håber for dig, du får mulighed for at komme tilbage.
Keep it up and hope you will come visit us again in the future :D
The thing I absolutely admire and love about Denmark is the flatness. haha. i am from a mountainous country, coming to Denmark it gives me so much calm inside me. It is a different kind of calm I feel inside me. and the people are so lovely and they always seem so happy and optimistic. and its so safe as a country. Denmark, I love you.
Your Danish is so good, don't forget to keep up your Danish skills :-) - And you're so sweet - with that smile and charm you'll be welcomed anywhere :-)
Good to see an american video made in a "danish " way, low key and just straight forward. Can see in your eyes and smile that you really love Denmark and the danish way of living. Sometimes we need to have somebody from abroad to describe what is good so we can appreciate it even more. Velkommen tilbage til Danmark og dansk hygge. :-) thanks for sharing, all the best and stay safe. Greetings from Jutland.
I have been teaching a Texan girl Danish via Skype and I must say that I’m impressed with your Danish. Our language is really hard to learn. Well done 😊
Wow, people still do language exchange over Skype? I did it 10 years ago. I'm from the USA and learned Mandarin from a girl in Taiwan. :) But due to not using it for so long I don't remember much of it but still have all my notes.
Waow!
For an unlearnable language, you learned incredibly well. I salute you. In a broader sense - those who dare take the leap to move will always be a little at home everywhere - and a little away from home, always.
Thank you for the nice commemts on the danish community. How good you speak danish after only 1/2 year, and how sweet you are. Thank you one more time. Please come back to our lovely country soon. Kærlig hilsen Niels

I have a suggestion for You, make this video in English it will be a lot broader audience than mere us Danes!

Actually I as a Swede understands your Danish much better than when it is being spoken by most Danes, especially those from Jylland. This even though I live at the other side of Öresund very close to Denmark and have been watching Danish TV from childhood.
