    My translation.
Please note that it is not literal.
    (First verse)
I could swim the seas because of you
I could swim the Lagoon because of you
I could climb a pole, an electric pole, because of you
The people would hail me saying well done sir.
    (Chorus)
Honour me, honour me, baby honour me
Don’t go and have a side man, because you haven’t slept at home for quite a while.
Honour me, honour me, baby honour me
Don’t go and have a side man, because you haven’t slept at home for quite a while.
Don’t go become a divorcee, come and get certification
There are scores of such women in the village as well as in Lagos.
Don’t go become a divorcee, come and get certification
There are scores of such women in the village as well as in Lagos.
    (Second Verse)
Love is not enforced nor is it ABC
    Baby leave me completely
So that I can come to terms with it
    I am fearful and apprehensive
    But you have no idea
You are the one that my heart desires.
    (Third Verse)
I love you no more, it is not a sin,
If you don’t love me again, please let me know,
Don’t let me see you lurking in a corner with Brother Sam, It’s dangerous,
    It’s very dangerous.
    (Fourth Verse)
Are you going to stay when things aren’t pure?
Would you be my umbrella, when its pouring with rain?
If you aren’t going to be there for me, please say so now,
So that I don’t commit suicide because of your conduct.

May we always have the strength to walk away when things get heated.......Some People always wish they had walked away.....Say no to violence against Men. No to Violence against women. Women be submissive ,husband respect Your wives.....Love is a Beautiful thing. No one walks into marriage with the hope to hate one another. Communication is key. Marriage is not by force at the same time is not a bed of Roses....
May God Grant us wisdom....The song clearly explains the abuse Men go through in marriages too which we don't really talk about in our society......They have feelings too and they get abused too. Most times for them , it's emotional abuse.

Kofo Juba thanks so much, you hit the nail on the head, most ladies skips this and hides under the shadow of real men dont beat ladies, so true though but they ain't ready to get the real man to keep his hands to himself, African men had got ego right from time, but our new slay queens be adopting good parts of western lives which most times hurts the ego of the man, God bless you

Significant other is the new ORDER...Marriage isn’t a trap-lock, about half of us got married of our ‘permissive will’ either-to (Pls walk away before your death in the a.m daily locals. Act wise...Be wise. (P.O.M.I.L.E) love isn’t compelled...I love you no-more isn’t a SIN.

I really don't understand what he's saying but from the first day I heard dis song, I loved it. Something about it gets to me, more so, I think I felt Odunlade's pain from his acting. I really wish we could love too much to hurt others.

Shocking that a classic like this song hasn't reached 1 million views since 2017 !! What a pity .
